Where do you buy good wrapping paper for a good price. I love Costco for Christmas wrapping paper but I am looking for birthday and othet wrapping paper.

One of the local private schools does wrapping paper sales as a fundraiser. You order through the school and the company mails it directly to you. I don't know the name of the company, but it is the heaviest wrapping paper I have seen, and there is more on the roll.

I look for Christmas paper that can be used for birthday, etc. For example, solid red or white with a gold stripe.

I don't care if it's "good" paper; after all, it's a short-term purchase.

Sally Foster i believe it is the same stuff dept stores used to use. Great stuff

Really cheap paper sucks to wrap with though. I really wish Costco would bring back the non-Christmas paper!

I've actually been happy with the DollarTree foil rolls the last couple of years. Thick enough to wrap nicely but cheap :)

I like a variety of 3-4 papers but that coordinate with each other. Smaller, cheaper rolls are good for that.

I was going to say Costco because I assumed you meant Christmas. For everything else, I just buy at dollar tree.

If you have a elementary school or Middle school near you, check with them to see if they are doing a Sally Foster fund raiser. My kids sold that every year. Best paper we ever used.

It's been a while, but a few year ago I bought some high quality wrapping paper at Hobby Lobby that was similar in quality to what you buy at those school fund raisers. I think it was over a black Friday weekend with some sort of discount too. I've cut way back on Christmas (also no little kids or grandkids now), so don't use a lot and haven't bought any since that purchase. We have a bunch of Christmas bags and boxes too, but I'm one who still likes wrapping paper also.

I just looked at the hobby lobby website (Sunday 11/20/2022) and when I clicked on one of the wrapping papers it said this:
50% off Rolled Basket & Gift Wrap
The one I looked at was originally $4.99 now $2.49
length 240"
width 30"

I clicked on a few Christmas themed wrapping papers, and they said sold out online. I don't know if they're all sold out. They were also more expensive: $9.99 reduced to $4.00 because 60% off Christmas Party & Tableware
length 288"
width 30"

Too late for this year, but usually I get the best wrapping paper deals AFTER Christmas since stores want to get rid of what is still on their shelves. The cheap/flimsy paper is like tissue paper and rips too easily when wrapping gifts. For large/irregular sized presents, I find those large gift bags work the best. Those are aslo on sale at a good price after the holiday.

Anyplace that sells paper will likely have it on sale after the holiday.

I always get the giant double sided rolls from sams/walmart. Usually one side is simple polkadots or stripe (to use for birthay) and the other usually very holiday. I get mine after Christmas.

I buy the nicer thicker paper from Hobby Lobby or Target in the few days after Christmas. I've always been able to get a solid color or something that works year round. For the past couple of years, I've been using a red and white polka dot purchased after Christmas. With a white bow, it doesn't look Christmasy.
