Curious what everyone else thought of the newest episode?

First I will fully agree that Emily from the Entertainment team is one of the best there is. Between her and Yoyo, the Fantasy has some of the strongest adult entertainment hosts in the fleet.

Secondly, I feel that someone needs to let them know that if you write "No Sales Please" on your intake form they will stop pitching items. It is miserable to be sold to when you are trying to relax. Just write it on the form and even let them know up front you appreciate them not trying to sell you anything (and maybe add a bit to the automatic tip when they adhere to your request).

Thirdly, I fear they are overestimating what will most likely happen during drydock- the Dream just underwent a similar dry dock and very few changes for the general public besides the Edge kids losing the funnel and splitting of VIbe into two with a gaga ball pit, a small update to the kids club, losing part of deck 13 as a concierge sundeck, and they added Ramones Cantina to the pool deck food. No changes to Enchanted Garden, no different carpets, honestly it appeared the staterooms weren't touched at all beyond the Deck 10 rooms that were converted to Concierge (and they are right under the pool deck so its a odd choice). If DCL is able to fix the vibration issue with the Fantasy aft it would be amazing but considering they already attempted that once and were unsuccessful I will not hold my breath.

Also I would have like to see Ryno during these sessions, Jackie too. I love hearing from both of them and they often have very different perspectives than each other.

Sadly that doesn't always work. I wrote it in big capital letters on my dad's intake form when he insisted on getting a massage and they still gave him a sales pitch.

They need to just stop with the sales pitch period.

I am surprised they didn't make Enchanted Garden a dinner show, since that seems to be the trend Disney is going towards on their other ships. Which is fine with me since I'm not a huge dinner show person, but I would have thought that would be one of the big dry dock projects.

It seems most of the money during dry dock went into things DCL could place behind a paywall- Like Edge into Funnel Suite, Converting several deck 10 staterooms into concierge, taking part of deck 13 for concierge sundeck.

I think if you polled these boards before the Dream went into dry dock what they thought would be the #1 change they were going to make....a re-theme of Enchanted Garden would probably have been the runaway winner. I'm still shocked that didn't happen.

I can understand converting rooms into concierge or making a sundeck bigger but taking out a teen club (kind of a staple for the "family cruise line") for something that only a very small amount of DCL guests can afford is strange to me.

The location of the new concierge rooms does not make sense to me, not close to the lounge and right under the pool deck with the chair scrapping as they set up early every morning. Those rooms are the ones I do NOT want assigned when I sailed VGT so making them concierge is odd to me.

As for the Funnel Suite... It is just one more sign that DCL is all in on kids under 10 but not showing much love to those 11 & up. Lookout Cay does not really have much for that age group- no teen hideout, no in Da Shade games to play, and the splash pad with the slides are clearly designed for younger kids. If teens were to spend a bunch of time there parents would fuss IMO. DCL is making some interesting choices for the 11 & up set. I think they will likely regret it in the future but I guess we will see.

I don't have kids so it doesn't directly impact me, but that's all very true. It may cause some with 11+ to look at Royal with all of their action packed amenities (Flow Rider, rock climbing wall, etc).

And maybe Disney is fine with that and wants to focus on 10 and under. But it is an odd move from the outside.
