We are taking our DS to WDW and I just wanted to know what were the Best/Worst places to eat with a 10 month old are. TIA

We are going in Sept with DS 11 months. I am looking forward to our ADRs at Crystal Palace and Coral Reef. I think DS is going to love watching the fish at Coral Reef.

Other ADRs we have are Kona, LeCellier, Spoodles, Nine Dragons, and Rose & Crown. This is our second trip with DS. WDW is a childrens atmosphere so don't be afraid to go where you want. We opted to avoid signature restaurants. DS is generally well behaved when we go out so we did not let having a child hinder our choices.

Congrats on your DS, have a wonderful trip!

I agree with Ron and would add that your choice of best/worst really depends on your kids. We took our daughter from day one all over, CS, TS, Signature Dining, you name it. Growing up in Manhattan and eating out most meals since she was a couple weeks old, she is extremely well behaved at the table and will eat just about anything that you put in front of her. If your child is a handful at mealtime, it could be extremely stressful trying to keep him/her quiet as you attempt to enjoy a meal, shunning disappointed stares from strangers at more subdued restaurants like Narcoossee's or Jiko. I'm thinking character buffets and CS would probably be best in that instance.

Consider Garden Grill in Epcot. Not so much because it's a character meal, but because of the unique atmosphere if you are seated on the lower level (just request it).

You have your own booth that is almost completely isolated from other tables. Also the scenery changes as the restaurant slowly rotates, taking 45-60 minutes to make one revolution. For about half of the time you see scenery from the Living With The Land ride.

When the characters do come by, you have them all to yourself for a short time. It all seems ideal for a 10-month-old. Under-3's are free as always, but I'm sure your server would bring something for DS from the standard child serving if you ask for it.

I would love to do CP and I was thinking Chef Mickey's but wasn't sure about places like Sci Fi and Prime Time. I will choose a lot of buffets the noise levels are usually high and my DH will love that. Any other ideas suggestions?

We brought our daughter down last October for her 1st Birthday and she was pretty good in most restaurants. Only time we had issues was when there was nothing for her to look at (like Rose and Crown in EPCOT was a little too dull for her.) Everywhere else she was pretty good and well behaved.

We had her birthday party at Chef Mickey and she really enjoyed it. She tends to be a little afraid of the characters but by the end of the week she was a little more open to having them come near her. :)

Guess it really depends on your child. If they don't like the characters just yet then it could be a tough experience eating with a crying child so probably best to try a character buffet (i.e. Chef Mickey or Crystal Palace) when you first get down there and see how they take to it. If that doesn't work then you can pretty much guage what places he/she will like.
