Best/Worst Bathrooms at the parks...

I've always been partial to the public restrooms just outside of Mizner's Lounge in the Grand Floridian. Extremely clean and never occupied. ::MickeyMo

I think the dirtiest is the one in Epcot on the right as entering WS. There is only two stalls I believe and also a family one stall next to it. The place always has a line and it is a mess inside.

My kids liked the hand dryers in the bathrooms in Dinoland at the AK.
They are the high pressure kind that move your skin in some pretty neat ways!!

This was in 2003 and they were the only ones like that, that we saw anyway.
There may be more now. They still talk about them today!

We always like the one near the exit of PoC. We usually time it right to make the pit stop after the ride. We found it a bit busier last time we were there since we saw Peter and Wendy outside.

Can't decide on the best, but the worst I've experienced is the one by the exit to Kali River Rapids at AK. The floor is always soaking wet and a little dirty from people getting off the ride.

I didn't even know there was a restroom by Mission: SPACE and Test Track (although now that I think about it, there has to be). I would imagine that one might not be very pleasant.

I have to second the vote for the rest rooms at Columbia Harbor House upstairs, so quiet, not crowded and clean!
Also in Biergarten at Epcot, large, uncrowded and clean.
And at WL near WCC, have never seen anyone else in those.

I don't know if you have young children, but we always use the bathrooms in the baby changing stations. When we have to stop to change my younger dd's diaper, we usually just use the bathrooms there also. They always seem very clean to me ..... well clean for a public bathroom. ;)

I was at an Outback with some friends...came back from the ladies rooms and announce "Damn! Those dryers could blast a nipple off!"

heheheh

those ARE the best hand dryers though!

I have found that the bathrooms at the resorts near the counter service restaurants are very nice. They are normally never busy and they seem to have complete stalls(closed in) . The ones I have used were at the AKL, WLV, BWV, BCV, and the Poly. :thewave:

I'm not a fan of the bathrooms outside Test Track and Mission:Space at EPCOT...they ARE very convienent...however, many people get sick in there from Mission:Space.

The "environment" in that particular bathroom is beyond weird. During our last visit, some elderly fellow in front of my son and I got all upset, screaming for whomever was in the large wheelchair-capable stall to "hurry up and let someone else use the @&*!&* handicapper crapper."

The new bathrooms outside of Lights Motors Action in MGM are big and very nice - at least they were nice when I was there, which was in January, way before the show was running.

Those are nice and HUGE. They have been around for a long time though-nobody used to use them! Brown Derby is also clean but on the smaller side.

Epcot's are pretty clean. The one accross from Rose and Crown is always good. Morocco's is often dirty. I always seem to need a bathroom break right near that one too.

AK's bathrooms are also clean. The one near the entrance always looks neat. The one near Kali is a slip and fall nightmare:)

MK does have the dirtiest bathrooms-I agree. The ones near the Plaza Restaurant are not too bad. The bathrooms near Guest relations smell awful-they need an air freshener in those! :faint:

my fave bathrooms are in Fantasyland the ones by Areil where it says Prince and Princess. My mom even has taken my picture under the Princess sign, so fun!

Dirtiest bathrooms-any of them in Tommorrowland  In fact I used the ladies restroom near the Plaza Restaraunt on this last trip in May and it was so bad that I had to hold my breath. Every toilet was sprayed with urine and looked like it had been that way all day.
Potty faves are: inside Crystal Palace-theming is cute, outside of POC just because they are usually quick to use and at the exit of Splash- also spacious and quick.

There used to be a website called thrones of the Kingdom which rated DLR bathrooms. During my WDW 2003 trip, I decided to take a whole bunch of photos of the bathrooms to do a similar website for WDW. I had it posted for awhile but recently I redid my website and took all the bathroom photos off. I am going back in October and decided to take photos of the remaining bathrooms that I missed last trip and do another website.

So...I get back at the beginning of November so I should have it all done and posted by mid to end November.

My website is in my signature.

The one at Epcot between the bus stop and the entrance to the park. It is on the right as you walk toward the park. I have found it always clean and never busy.

Many of us will be looking forward to it, Thanks. But I must admit, I'll bet you get some pretty strange looks when you're in there taking pictures!

I agree that all of the bathrooms at MK needed some help. I attributed to the high crowds when we were there last week, but maybe they're like that all of the time, don't know. My favorite bathroom is at AK, when you are walking towards Dinoland. It's on the right, and I think it's almost across from Flame Tree BBQ. They had the cutest tiles in there, and it was very clean. Plus, you gotta love those Jet-Dry hand dryers at AK, they come in very handy after a ride on Kali River Rapids.

I noticed that a lot of the restrooms in Epcot were the old fashioned kinds, you know, the kind you have to flush manually and turn the faucets on manually. I found that odd since Epcot is suppossed to be kind of "futuristic" themed.

I think it would also be neat if each of the countries at the World showcase had toilets that are typical in their countries. For instance, in Japan, it would be the kind you have to squat over. ;)

Isn't that the truth! Mostly I got this weird look and then they would turn around to see just what the heck I was taking a picture of LOL!

I did pretty well though NOT getting people in the photos, considering it was SO busy that year compared to other Octobers! Should be interesting this October getting all the others :rolleyes1
