We need 2 meals in World Showcase. Since Le Cellier cannot be booked in December (until they open the CP packages next month), I am *freaking out* that we won't get something good. I know, silly thing to freak out about, but we like to eat. :rotfl: I didn't put all of the WS restaurants. We've already eaten at Akershus & Les Chefs de France, and didn't really care for them. We are Texans & our Tex-Mex. So we're not going to waste a TS credit on Mexican food that probably isn't great. We've heard Rose & Crown won't be available for ADRs right now, either. Even so, I want to see how they rank ;) I'm trying to fill 2 ADR spots.

Please vote on your favorite WS meal & then post *WHY* you love it so much. (Dish recommendations would be awesome too!) :flower3

For your two slots I would choose Via Napoli and either Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining!

The food at Via Napoli is delicious and it was one of our favorite TS last trip! They pizza was some of the best I have had! The calamari, fried veggies, and eggplant parmigiana were fabulous! The tomato sauce that came with the calamari and fried veggies was great and the eggplant parmigiana was not fried which I loved!

Teppan Edo is a hibachi restaurant where they cook in front of you. It is a fun meal. The food is good and the "show" is a lot of fun! I would go with Tokyo Dining if you prefer sushi, tempura, etc. :goodvibes

Thanks! We are really planning on going to Teppan Edo. (I think we'll have 3 meals in EPCOT!) We love hibachi. I have *NEVER* tried sushi, but have always wanted to. Didn't know if Tokyo was the place to try it, or California Grill. We will have ADRs for there too. I know the rest of the the family won't eat sushi. Is that all Tokyo has to offer?

The sushi at California Grill is very good! :thumbsup2

Here is the menu for Tokyo Dining.

As you can see they do have more options than just sushi and tempura. :goodvibes

Hey, fellow Texan. I know what you mean about Tex-Mex because I've been tempted to try the new place in Mexico but I'm worried that we'll be disappointed.

I'm mulling over the Biergarten right now so hopefully someone will post about it. We like the Rose & Crown but I have a northern European background so their food is like comfort food to me. Teppan Edo sounds interesting too...

Our top 2 would be Les Chefs and Biergarten.

I haven't eaten at any of them - we always do CS at World Showcase. So I didn't vote but would love see how others dopopcorn::

The absolute best restaurant in any of the parks is Le Bistro de Paris on the second floor of the France Pavilion. For quality of both food and service it beats everything else, any many people consider it second only to V&A of all WDW restaurants.

Teppan Edo is YUMMY! Oh man i love their filet mignon. On one trip i ate at Le Cellier, then Teppan Edo the following day. My filet at Teppan Edo was far better than the steak i had at Le Cellier believe it or not! We always have great meals there.

The noodles, the filet, the green tea pudding, the choc.ginger cake, theyre all so very very tasty.

Biergarten is good. I love the entertainment & sharing tables with strangers. Its fun! Love the atmosphere. There were some items on the buffet i didnt care for, the meat texture bothered me with some dishes, but overall it was good. These two would be my pick. If i had to choose between the two, it would be tough, but i think i'd probably choose Teppan Edo.

Thank you all SOOOOO much! There are so many "OTHER" votes. Please post & tell us what your "OTHER" is ;)

Yep, the Mexican food would just be a waste, wouldn't it? You KNOW what us Texans are used to. :woohoo:

I don't know WHY I didn't even consider LeB?? We are dining deluxe this time, & are planning on dining at these sig restaurants: Cali Grill, Brown Derby, Yachtsman, Artist Point, & Flying Fish. LeB never even crossed my mind. :confused3 Now, if I were to change plans, I'd have to give up one of those other sigs. Which would I do? I'm completely OT here! You've thrown me for a loop.

Think you should bite the bullet and consider trying San Angel Inn... just once. Even if you consider the food to be only average compared to what you are used to, it is unlikely you will ever have eaten in such a unique setting before, so I think its worth trying just for that.

We also love Teppan Edo....we love the show and the food is really good.

we have the same problem they are holding alot of the resturant res hostage for the CP pkg. we want R&C. we will watch DIS as soon as the release the res we will book. if we cant get it we will check the resort resturants. not a fan of LC poor. service and not. worth 2 credits.

I selected Biergarten. Rose and Crown was the pits (service was awful...some food was decent, but some was not that great) and I'm not sure what other table services we've done on the WS...oh...Marrakesh was the pits too...icky food...service was ok, but the food was downright blah and we could hardly see the belly dancing show. We hope to try Via Napoli, Teppan Edo and Nine Dragons sometime. I forgot, we did the Mexican place...San Angel Inn...and it was not bad either. It has nice ambiance...the food is OK, but not awful like Marrakesh (ack!).

I am going to agree with trying San Angel Inn ... we love it and I would say that it is really not Tex Mex but more like on the authentic Mexican side.

I voted for Rose and Crown.... My husband loves the fish and chips, I loved the steak with Stilton cheese on top....my mouth waters just thinking of it...plus, make a 7pm reservation and ask to be seated on patio and you can watch illuminations from your seat!!!

We also ate at Tuotto Italian and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food (we're from NY so we are picky about Italian....)

Biergarten is fun for the atmosphere but the food is blah IMO (and I'm German...).
