You might try the Teva Niyati. I've tried various Teva's with straps, and the straps rub on the top of my foot. Though my feet aren't really wide, across the top, and the toe area, they are wider than "normal,"

especially in the summer. The Niyati's are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, and I have worn them days on end at WDW. The piece between the toes doesn't rub at all, and is really soft. I love this shoe so much that I bought it in duplicate, in case Teva ever discontinues the style.
