Best Women's Teva Styles?

I wear a wide shoe and I can't wear any Tevas. The front strap hurts at the outer edge of my little toe. I think you need to try them on.

:badpc: Darn! OK, thank-you very much. I guess I better look locally. I wonder where around here has them. :confused3 :scratchin

There seems to be alot of people posting about shoes today. Anyway I ordered some Teva Pretty Rugged Leather Sandals and Teva Olawahu flip flops a little over a month ago. I don't usually wear flip flops (can't stand the thing between the toes), but Zappos.com has reviews after each shoe and these flip flops sounded so good I had to try them. Both pairs were so comfortable the first time I put them on, it was like going barefoot, but better. The Olawahu especially felt like my foot was sinking into foam. They have a little built-in arch which is very nice and the little piece that goes between your toe is turned kinda sideways and is very soft. I have a little toe on my right foot that always hurts after a while, no matter what kind of shoes I wear. These Tevas don't even touch my little toe. They are wonderful. After wearing them around the house a couple of days until I was sure I was keeping them, I started wearing them to walk my dog every day. I usually walk about 2 miles a day and with both of these shoes I forgot I was wearing them, they were so light and comfortable. Anyway, the other day I found a pair of Tevas Mush flip flops in a local store and bought them. They were just as comfortable. No breaking in time was needed for any of these. These three pairs of Tevas are the only ones I'm taking on my trip to WDW in May.

I've bought from zappos.com several times and really like them. I like the reviews after each shoe, the fact that I've always gotten them the next day with free shipping, and the fact that they have a great return policy. You can order several pairs, wear them around the house for a few days, and send back the ones you don't like, and Zappos will pay for the return shipping with no questions asked. You can't beat that.

I bought a pair of Niyati sandals last year and love them! I wore them for our 9 day WDW trip last year and for the first time my feet felt great. :cool1:
There was a thread last year that recommeded them. I'm to buy another pair this year. Best sandal/shoe I've had in a long time! :flower:

OK>>>>I went to the Zappos site after reading about the free return policy (gotta love that) and stumbled across a pair of Teva Wraptor on clearance for 39.95!!! You can get 2 pairs for less than the price of 1!! There is only a few sizes available though....here is the link...http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/110498.html SALE IS FOR TODAY ONLY (3/11) .

I want to buy a pair, but am a bit nervous because I always have trouble with any kind of shoe feeling comfortable on me. It took me years to find the right sneaker. My right foot is wider than my left and that is where the trouble comes in  . How are these for wide feet? I really like the look of the Kenetics.

You might try the Teva Niyati. I've tried various Teva's with straps, and the straps rub on the top of my foot. Though my feet aren't really wide, across the top, and the toe area, they are wider than "normal," :confused3 especially in the summer. The Niyati's are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, and I have worn them days on end at WDW. The piece between the toes doesn't rub at all, and is really soft. I love this shoe so much that I bought it in duplicate, in case Teva ever discontinues the style.

Not every Teva is for every foot, and I tried them ALL (almost ;) )before I found the right one for me!

They're my favorite too. Best pair of shoes I ever bought!
I have 2 -black & blue. I'm looking to buy another, but can't seem to find them this year. Have you seen them?

They have them at Zappos. I have purchased a couple pair from them, and a seller on ebay. I have the black and blue also. They come in red, but I'm not crazy about that particular color.

Does anyone have either the Peakay or Vanua style? REI has both styles on sale in my size and I can't decide between the two. :confused3 The Peakay look more comfortable, but the Vanua more stylish (and cushy, too.) Has anyone tried to spend a theme park day in either of these? I had to return a pair of Wraptors that I found on Zappos - were rubbing me w/in seconds and my freakishly long middle toe was hitting the edge . . . too bad, it was a really good deal! Thanks in advance!

My friend has the Peakay and she likes them. She said they are as comfortable as the Pretty Rugged (which is what I wear and  ).

If you are getting them at REIoutlet.com, they have a 20% off coupon good for today only on your highest priced item - MNDEA. Don't forget to go through ebates or mypoints!!!

Thanks for the advice and info on the coupon. Unfortunately, I didn't see your response until this morning, so the coupon had expired. :sad1: I did a quick search for another, but couldn't find a code. Also tried to go through mypoints, but REI is not listed! Drat, I guess I get no breaks on this one (except for REI's sale price!) Thanks again!

REI used to be on mypoints - I should've checked before posting that...

I use ebates to make my REI purchases (which I make a lot of, just ask my husband who picks up my orders every couple of weeks, lol). You get 3% back. In fact, I have been using ebates more than mypoints lately unless mypoints is offering a lot of bonus points or are the only program that offers points for the site I am shopping.
