I still remember the time we got to go into Walt Disney's apartment at Disneyland. I sat down on Walt's bed and I still remember your face. It was like I touched the Mona Lisa! Then the cast member said it was ok to sit .

I only met you a couple times before I left the Disneyland show, but you were very cool!!

According to this weeks podcast they said he's just taking a leave of absence to focus on himself and Dustin will be filling in for now so it sounds like he will be back.

Best wishes for Pete. Pure speculation on my part, but Pete's past absences make me believe he will return. He's pure type A and can't leave the show alone forever. I sincerely hope that his personal reasons turn for the better but in the meantime the show is in capable hands. We'll miss ya Pete, hoping everything turns out roses for you.

I just saw the Facebook post that Pete will no longer be hosting the Podcast. I usually don't post on Facebook, but I wanted to write something on the boards to thank Pete for all of his years of work on the Podcast.

Pete, your wit and passion for Disney will be missed. I wish you all the best and I hope you will return to the Podcast at some point.

Having met you in person with my DH, Caskbill, I do go to Podcasts occasionally. I always appreciated what you have done with the Disboards in their creation and I can't imagine the time it consumes. I'm a Conservative Republican and Pete seems to be a Liberal Democrat(judging by many of his side comments)...but many of his statements that would usually rile me up(from any other person) actually made me *consider* his view in an honest way.

I thought exactly the same thing. I was really shocked by how it didn't seem to be a big deal on the show. Maybe things changed from the time of the Facebook announcement to the time the show went live. I hope that is the case and we are looking at a few weeks away for Pete and not a permanent absence.

Let me start by saying that I do not post very often, but felt that I should this time. I started listening to the podcast a couple of years ago as it made my morning and evening commute more enjoyable. I just want Pete to know that I really enjoyed what he brought to the show and will really miss his presence as it will never be the same. Good luck and take care of yourself.

Breaking news to those who are not on face book as a pp mentioned Pete said he will be back. This is temporary and he can't stay away to long he miss the show and getting John to spend money.

Best wishes to Pete. I've been watching the Podcast every week since early this year, first on Youtube and now on Livestream, and thoroughly enjoy every show.
Take care of yourself first, the Podcast is in good hands with Dustin and the team. Even though Cory said today that it wasn't a health issue, a herniated disc isn't a fun thing. (I know since I had one in my lower back last year.)

We will all be looking forward to your return when that time is right.
