Best Western's

I am new at this, so hope that I am doing it correctly. I got back from Disneyland a couple of weeks back and have been intending to write a review or a new thread (is that what you call this?)about the Best Western Anaheim Inn. Although it is close to the parks, the amenities were poor. They didn't have a continental breakfast, which I thought was very unusual near the parks. I don't expect much at these breakfasts, but a few items to get me and my family going would have been appreciated. Also, the pool was teeny tiny. The rooms were fair, but probably wouldn't have been anything special if we weren't at Disneyland every day. Let's face it, we stayed here because of the proximity to the parks and didn't pay much attention to much else when booking, mainly because we hadn't planned on being at the motel much, except to sleep. There was one day that we took off from the parks and was looking forward to the pool. We were disappointed. Actually, we have stayed at a few other BW in Anaheim, and have been less than impressed. I was telling this story to a friend of mine upon my return, and she said that they had just come back from Disneyland and that they stayed at the Ramada Inn next door. She said that it wasn't much to look at from the outside, but the room that they stayed in was awesome and that the large pool was just redone. They have kids spray toys, a little kid entrance, and everything else looked new. Oh, and they had a basic continental breakfast. She mentioned that the value was great. No extra fees or charges for parking or wifi, etc. Maybe next time we will stay there. Any comments from you guys?

Was this the first BW you found in Anahiem that doesn't have a continental breakfast? I do find this is an oddity for a motel there.
