Then you do not know Anaheim very well. How you felt is different from the reality of how the area is.
Ok, here is the thing, No I don't know Anaheim very well, I am an Aussie, NEVER EVER been to USA before in my life until that trip, all my knowledge of USA comes from the news we get of all the shootings that occur in USA.
So needless to say, the thing that we were most affraid of, while visiting, was being shot. For us, two country folk, being one adult female and one teenage girl, yes we were afraid of what "could" happen to us. We quickly realised that we need not have worried, as we felt perfectly safe, we NEVER felt threatened in any way, we never felt at risk, nothing.
In all honesty, I get more scared going to Sydney, than I was in Anaheim.
Perhaps if you can't understand how tourist from another country, can feel safer than you in your own country, maybe you are in the wrong place for a holiday.....just saying.
