A couple questions about this hotel

Has anyone stayed here and anything i should know about the experience I realize it is quite a fair distance to the park

ASRT transportation or is it true that you can walk over to Toy Story parking lot and catch a free tram?

Good breakfast?

This seemed to be one of the best deals in the area and we got a room with 2 queens and sofa bed its a girls trip myself, my daughter and grandma.

Any info would be helpful especially about the transportation aspects

We stayed there in April, although not in a suite, just a regular room. The room had been remodeled and we were very pleased with it. Breakfast had a lot of offerings. I wouldn't say it was amazing, but better than just donuts. They have eggs and meat and english muffins, so we usually tried to make breakfast sandwiches in the mornings for some protein before taking off. We used the Toy Story buses every day. They were very fast and efficient! The walk to the parking lot isn't bad, but at night it felt a little long and is a bit more deserted area. It didn't feel unsafe, but there weren't tons of people walking at night like they do across the street. I would stay there again though if the price is right. They told me they were going to be remodeling their pool soon, don't know if that happened yet. It seemed though they were taking steps to try to make it a nice place.

Did you pay to take the shuttle at toy story or just walk over and hop on for free?

You can take the TS busses for free. There would be no way for you to pay for them. They have no clue if you parked or not and I cam guessing the drivers don't care.

They don't care if you walk or park. The attendants knew we came from a nearby hotel, they were always very friendly to us. Whatever gets you in the park spending money.... ;)

We are staying here in December. From all of the threads I have read on the hotel, it seems like it gets pretty decent reviews. I enjoy staying at Best Westerns, one of the reasons being their breakfasts. As mentioned by a PP, its not a gourmet breakfast but it hits all the necessary areas including eggs, meats and fresh waffles

I was concerned about using the TS lot as well but from everything I have heard you simply walk right onto it. I pulled it up on Google Street View and it was approximately 800 ft away. Not far at all and literally next to BWRI.

Hope you have a great trip!

We are staying there in October. We are BW rewards members, and it was very inexpensive with our Southwest Airlines package. We are getting a room with the bunkbeds for the kids. They are excited about it. Good to hear about the Toy Story buses. We will either do that or the ART. I hope it works out well - I'll report back here!

We stayed at Best Western Raffles Inn a couple years ago and overall it was a good experience. The family suite was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast wasn't anything special but it was enough to satisfy everyone in our party. We did have a hard time with parking because they do not have enough parking spaces for the amount of rooms that they have.

I had purchased the ART passes for the 4 days that we were going to be there but we only used them one day. The other days we ended up paying to park at Mickey and Friends. We found that the buses did not come every 20 minutes and when we decided to return at night it was standing room only and we were the last stop at the end of the night so it took almost 40 minutes to get back to the hotel.
