I went through PL and got BWLBV for $60 for one night. I called there and asked if we could have an Epcot view and they said Yes we could upgrade for $10. So we have never stayed there....

What are your thoughts on this hotel? Good, Bad, did I get an okay price?

I stayed here about 3/4 years ago just as it was starting renovations. I had no problem with this hotel. The rooms were big & clean & the staff was friendly. The rate we had was $39/night thru Dreams Unlimited.

There is also a daily resort fee there..usually you can get the Hilton for that price - how did you end up bidding $60 for a 3 star?

I first bid $50 for a resort or 4 star and there weren't any available. Then, I tried a 3 star for $50 and it wasn't accepted. Do I have to pay a resort fee on top of my room rate? PL didn't say anything about that.

There is a part in the priceline rules that states resort fees, parking etc are seperate from your bid price so yes you will have to pay the resort fee (you can probably find out how much on the hotel website)

I have stayed there several times over past year or two. I've noticed in the off season some times this hotel has some good rates on roomsaver.com (I think that's right). A while back roomsaver had the king corner room with Disney view for $59 which I thought was good for what you got.

Older hotel renovated a few years ago, good location near DTD, nice size rooms. Nothing fancy but with the right price can be a good deal.

i was able to get that hotel on PL for $48 for Sept 23. I was happy with that considering its for one night and I will be able to walk to DTD. I have read the reviews, and like most places, I have found good and bad, so Ill just hope for the best. after I won the bid, first thing i did was check to see if they charge additional fees, because pl does warn you about that in their rules before you bid. i kinda wish i had went for the hilton for the 60 rate, but i actually thought i would end up with the sheraton safari. but hey, thats what happens when you gamble with priceline...lol.

We aren't staying there until December. I just felt like I had to book it sooner rather than waiting until the last minute. They are filming the Christmas parade during that time and I was afraid that the hotels might be full due to that. I know I probably could have gotten it cheaper if I had waited, that's if there was anything available. As it was all of the resort and 4 stars were already taken.

The resort fee turned out to be only $7 so I'm not really upset about that.

hey i just got back from staying there last week. i wasn't too happy with the place. it was just little things. thought the woman at guest services was rude. she told us the wrong times for pick up at blizzard and we missed our dinner reservations. the buses do not pick up at the same time everyday and we wasted alot of time waiting for them. by the end of the trip we took our own car. for 3 days the staff left a room service tray outside of the room across from us. if we didn not complain about the smell it would prob. still be there. we stayed there because we have 5 adult and we could book one room. when we go back next year we are going to pay the extra money for 2 rooms in pop or in as. and at least we'll have all the disney perks. someone also mentioned walking to dtd. it's not as close as you think. we did it but it takes at least 20 minutes. after along day of park hopping it really wasn't pleasent. Good Luck.

wow! dwecndrela, sorry about your expierence. Sounds like we're lucky we are only staying there for one night before checking into our other hotel.

sorry i didn't mean to sound like Debbie Downer but i just don't want others to have to deal with that stupid stuff. You are and disney and you want it to be care free. there is no reason you should have to walk by peoples half eatin dinner for 3 days. i have my complaints to the hotel and hopefully they will fix those little problems. this way it will be better for those who stay ther after me. Don't get me wrong the rooms are clean and the maids come everyday. your not staying in a run down shack, but they just don't pay attention to the little things. and that's what makes traveling alittle more difficult. Hope you have a wonderful time in the magical place on earth.

We stayed here three years ago, just as the renovations we're wrapping up, for $27 (Priceline). All the renovated areas were nice. We were on the 18th floor in an unrenovated room, which I'm sure was subsequently redone, so I can't help you there. For anything under $70-$75 I'd say the place is well worth it (It'd be worth more if you couldn't get a Disney value resort in the $85-$100 range most of the year.

I stayed there this past April only for 1 night and was very happy with it. wouldn't mind staying there again. And it is a long walk to DTD.

How did you know you were going to get BW LBV going through Priceline?
Is there a trick I am unaware of?
