:cool1:Super excited to be staying here for our short trip in May. Just 3 nights. The pool area and everything looks very nice and the % of recommended on tripadvisor is 79% :thumbsup2

ANY info or tips greatly appreciated. I haven't booked it yet but I can get $144 on their website or it looks like 2* bids of $25-28/nighton Priceline have gone through recently, according to Better Bidding .com

I almost booked this hotel a few months ago thinking of doing a solo trip. It would have been perfect. I also looked at all the comments about it and the layout of it looked nice. Plus there is a Walgreens a few steps away and lot's of restaurant's within walking distance. I think a Red Lobster and Golden Corral which sounded great. Only thing that stopped me was hearing their free shuttle is not that great. I would want to do rope drop once while there and like to stay until after fireworks. Which I would still do with this hotel and take a cab one day. But If I take my Mom (would need wheelchair) I can't risk a shuttle like that. My solo trip is possibly taking about 4 family members so far:rotfl: But this hotel seemed really good! Have a blast!:thumbsup2

we have stayed there twice & would definately stay there again.
i like the close proximity,to the parks & also having a good choice of places to eat, within easy walking distance.
the rooms are a good size & are lovely & clean.the pool areas are also very nice.there is also a crazy golf,on site, for the kids, along with a games room.
i don't think you can go far wrong, staying here.
have a great time

DD and I stayed there in January '09- got a rate of $32/night on Hotwire. We liked it very much- to me, the rooms, pool, and layout of the resort was very similar to a Disney value resort.

The travel time to the Disney parks was great- AK is closest, about 5 minutes via Shereboth Rd. Farthest away was MK, but it was still only 15 mins from the resort to the TTC. There are a lot of restaurants nearby- we liked the Walgreen's in the resort parking lot- great for picking up grocery items and other little purchases.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. This isn't a newer resort, but it is kept in good condition. We would stay there again- if DH didn't have so many free nights accumulated at another hotel chain, we'd probably be booked there for our upcoming November trip.

As an FYI, I was successful with a $22 per night bid for 5/15-5/19/10. Seems like a great deal!

Oh AWESOME! Was that Priceline? I know it's around$25 as a Hotwire mystery @ 2.5 stars Disney Main Gate-Celebration

It was priceline - using 2 star rating. I was a bit scared of the two star part, but it worked for me.
