Horrible!

Was so proud of the deal I got with DH's military benefit, $55.00 a night. We just needed it for two nights before we checked in at the resort on Friday. We checked in a little before 3:00 PM on Wednesay. Check in was quick and easy - though I did locate a coupon that was $5 cheaper, they would not honor it. We had packed a couple of small bags to take in here and left the majority of the stuff in the van.

Upon arriving in the room it looked okay, nothing spectacular but when is your basic hotel room spectacular?

DH goes to the rest room and comes back out with a shirt, pair of shorts & undies (he's the first person in there) and says, "I don't suppose these are yours?" EWWWWWWW

Next I go to put some drinks in the fridge and there is a half consumed bottle of lemonade in there.....EWWWWWW x2.

We were in a bit of a hurry as we wanted to get to the MK at 4:00 for MP&PP so I didn't complain.

When we got into the room that night (about 1:00 AM) I notice the sheets are not even tucked in, they are just spread on the beds........now many years ago when I was a teen I worked cleaning rooms at a hotel and I know how a bed is supposed to be made.......

Note to self: Never ever ever stay at the Best Western Lakeside again.

I can't say anything about the rest of the place because we were only there to sleep. But I felt like I needed to sleep fully clothes, i.e. pants, long sleeved shirt, socks, toboggan......

We were planning to come back here on the 13th after leaving the resort and stay two more days but we decided not too.......

YUCK! It sounds like they missed this room when they cleaned. I would have complained immediately. I couldn't have slept on the beds. Thanks for letting us know.

when we stayed here in feb for a quick weekend qet away...check in was fast but when we got to the room the room was ok. it was worn out looking but i thought was ok since we got it from hotwire for $29 a night. When it was time for bed i took the bedspread off and there was no fitted sheet just a flat sheet the box spring wasn't even on a bed frame it was balanced on these pillar things that weren't even screwed on so when we slepted we had to make sure not to move to much or the whole bed would topple over which i did a couple of times. I guess the saying is right you get what you pay for
