I am planning a trip to WDW from Dec.13-16. I want to try something new and stay the the Best Western Hotel at Downtown Disney. I know absolutely nothing about this hotel except it looks very nice on the outside. Can someone plese tell me if the hotel has good room service, restaurants....ect?

Thanks!

I stayed here in Aug. on a priceline bid. DH just stayed here last sunday on another priceline bid. THere is a hotel review on biddingfortravel.com a priceline information site. Ive gotten both bids under $30.00 per night. Not sure if they even have room service, maybe they did. The rooms are nice, large kinda on the old side, but ok. I felt like it was empty during my aug. stay. The location is great. I also got the Courtyard at DTD on a special of $20.02 per night and i liked it alot better. THe BW charged dh a $5.00 resort fee?

We stayed there our first night in orlando thru pricleine over Labor Day weekend for $25.00. The room was on the 9th floor we were upgrade to a very large room i think it was a deluxe room with w king and pullout sofa balcony with view of DD which I requested the view at checkin. I was very impressed with the place. They have a full buffett breakfast for 4.99 in the mornings. I almost positive I saw a room service menu. We called for extra pillows at 11 p.m. and ask for many as we could get. (husband he's them) in five minutes the lady had brought me 6 pillows. I was impressed. The check in clerk was not overly friendly but gave me the delux room that I did'nt request. I would stay there again in a heartbeat for that price. The rooms show wear like paint behind the bathroom door and the knobs where a tad dated but it was clean, very large room, and it was conv to the ice machine and vending machine. They also had a washer / dryer on that floor. We actually purchased two rooms and she put us on the same floor (did not request adjoining since we were with another adult couple). I slept comfy in the the beds so not prob there. I'm very very picky about where I stay and I could not talk myself into paying 400 for two rooms at Portino bay and arrive at 11 at night. So for 66.00 buck which included pricline fees and taxes I was extremly pleased with this place. At check in she asked if I'd like to leave a deposit for phone useage and I told her no and I left no depsit so in the a/m we just called for a bellman who swifty come retrived our luggage out of both rooms and loaded our car and we were off to PBH at US which is a 10 minute trip at the most from this hotel. It's very easy to find and very, very, close to WDW park lot.LOL
