Best Week to go?

Going back for another December trip this year, is that 1st full week still a good one to go? We are looking at Dec 4th to the 9th. I know it's the weekend of the parade taping so I am concerned about that messing up the whole weekend. We would be doing MK probably that Monday the 7th and MVMCP that Tuesday night the 8th. All the parade stuff should be done by then right?

We also considering the following weekend, the 11th to the 16th. Thoughts?

The 1st full week is a great week to go. The MK parade is usually over by that Monday, the weather would be the only thing that would cause a taping delay.

Just some thoughts from my experience. The first full week seems a little busier to us. The later you go to MVMCP in the month the less chance that there will be any merchandise left.

There has been a change of when the cheerleaders are there. It used to be the first week, but some years it is the second week.

The College Football Awards show is now later in the month, more than likely the second Thursday of December.

Pop Warner has also been shifting weeks, sometimes the first sometimes the second. We have never really had any problems with Pop Warner kids/families as they seem to stay around the value resorts and 1 of the moderates and are playing/practicing much of the time.

The tree at MK will be up in the second week after the parade taping. Never went to MK while they were taping. Just seemed to us that there were 3 other choices why take the risk.

Yeah POP was something I was considering, last time we went in December it did bother me a little bit but I doubt that will come into play this time cause we're not staying at value resorts, mostly likely will be at OKW. I know we wouldn't be going to MK the day of the parade, I just wanted to make sure that Monday/Tuesday would be good days to go.... And yeah I'm a pin collector so the exclusive pins at MVMCP mean a lot to me. Sounds like I'll stick with 12/4 to 12/9.
