Best websites for airfare

I know many use expedia, travelocity, etc

but I know some user other less well-known sites. Can anyone offer some suggestions?

SOUTHWEST.COM only one you need to know. (Unless you want to check on Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, etc. to see how much you've saved!)

Certainly not an unknown, but I do like www.orbitz.com, easy to use. Then I use the airlines' websites, most often www.midwestairlines.com.

kayak.com is really good. Also, try Smarter Travel.com It has a direct link to 10 plus sites (including Kayak) and you only have to enter your dates once. If you find a good fare, then go the carrier's site, because sometimes the carrier lists more flight options at the same (or better) price. I found a sweet deal on hotwire.com last year ($122 RT PHL - MCO), but so far hotwire is terrible this year. It's more expensive.

There's a great site I use to find the cheapest fares, you cannot book on the site, but it will give you very many prices and itineraries to get you where you need to go.

You don't need a logon. Just go on as a guest. When you look at the itinerary you can ask for flight details. It will give you the airlines, times, and the class of service you need.
