Best WDW soups?

By FAR the Mushroom soup at Artist Point. I even bought a smoker recently to try my hand at the recipe! YUM!!

Thanks for the great pic of it!

Love, love, love the soups at Boma. They also serve the same soups at their CS restaurant, Mara, but only one per day. One of my faves is the butternut squash soup and the seafood stew.

we love Boma's butternut squash soup and Canadian cheddar cheese soup from Food and Wine (is this the same one as Le Cellier's?)

I love tomato soup so I really want to try the one from Earl of Sandwhich. I also want to try the butternut squash from Wolfgang Puck.

I forgot about the Tomato Soup from Earl of Sandwich. Plus on the days they have it I also like their Broccoli & Cheddar Cheese Soup.

I'm a vegetarian, so I've had a hard time finding soups that I can actually eat at WDW but the ones I have had have been very good!

Boma:
Butternut Squash Soup
Carrot Ginger Soup
Plantain and Corn Stew

Cape May:
Tomato Bisque

1900 Park Fare:
Strawberry Soup - Okay, it's more a dessert but they call it a soup. :rotfl: But it is one of the best things I've had in WDW.

I agree with you 100%! I love these soups from Boma too. There is also a mushroom soup from Boma that is good as well.
I have had the tomato bisque from The Plaza Restaurant and I think it is the best soup I have ever had, seriously! It is a must each trip I go. I wonder if it is the same as the soup at Cape May or other WDW restaurants that people have mentioned on here? We are going to Cape May on our upcoming trip and I hope it is the same. :goodvibes

I like the Big River beer cheese better than the Le Cellier cheese. I am sure that is probably sacrilege.

Boma had excellent soups. I no longer do Disney buffets as the prices have outstripped the quality and value, but they have been selling a couple of Boma soups at the Mara quickservice. I like Mara's African stew in a breadbowl if they still sell it.

Tomato soup with paneer cheese at Sanaa was good.

A favorite is the Aztec soup at San Angel Inn but I would bet a lot of people wouldn't like it as much as I do.

French onion soup at Chefs de France.

I loved the pho at Yak & Yeti but it's been discontinued.

The soups at Boma are what keeps me returning every trip--simply delish! The mushroom soup at Artist Point is yummy as well.

TRex's french onion soup, Le Cellier's cheddar cheese soup, Columbia Harbor House's clam chowder and Sci Fi's Tomato BLT soup (without the lettuce) are fantastic!

I would have to second the Le Cellier Beer and Cheese soup.
I hear the French onion at Chefs de France is amazing as well.

I'm surprised nobody has said Artist Point's mushroom soup!

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME SOUP!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 DonaldDoleWhip, almost looks like I can lift that bowl of soup right out of the photo off the computer and eat it!!

I loved the Tomado soup at Earl Sandwich and the Vegatable soup at Four Season. I was disappointed with the Cheese soup at LeCellar's was way too salty for my taste.

Oh I love this thread; some great ideas for new things to try! :thumbsup2

I agree with PP: The Lobster Bisque at Coral Reef. :)

The Sopa Azteca at San Angel Inn is prob. the favorite!
but others I love  are:
Lobster Bisque at Chef's de France
Clam Chowder at Captain's Grill or Columbia Harbor House
Cheddar Cheese Soup at Le Cellier

THe Lobster Bisque at Chef de France
The Potato Leek Soup at Rose and Crown

and the Strawberry soup at 1900 park Fare

I love soup all year round. My favorites at WDW are the tomato soup from Earl of Sandwich and the potato leek soup from Rose and Crown!

Oyster and brie cheese soup (finished with champagne, chives and lemon aioli). One of the best and most unique soups I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. I could have had a giant bowl of this and bread and made it a meal.

I love soup, and always order it numerous times at WDW even in the summer months. My favs are the cheddar cheese soup @ Le Cellier and the minestrone at Mama Melrose's
