My fiance and I are getting married Saturday and then going down to US with the kids for 4 nights @ RPR. I got a $159/night FL resident rate. Is there anyway I could get upgraded if I tell them we are newlyweds. Should I call ahead and ask for it ir just try upon check in? Are free upgrades common at all?

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! :goodvibes

Before our trip to PBH last January, I called to let them know that our UO was a pre-wedding present for my now husband. They were so helpful and said that they would put aside a great room for us.

When we arrived, we had one of the very few balcony rooms overlooking the bay!! It was a great surprise and a super nice room! And the bathroom... OMG - it was a little piece of heaven.

Good luck and have a great stay! :cheer2:

I would definitely have it added to your reservation. When we checked in on our 30th anniversary trip, the front desk clerk observed the note on our reservation and then told us she knew just what to do for us, and gave us a free club access upgrade.
