I am looking for additional ways to "share the magic" especially during parades. Some of my best Disney moments before seeing the smiles on other peoples faces when we did something kind that they were not expecting. My children love handing out stickers and glow sticks. Any other ideas?

Hubby and I used to hand out paper fast passes to two unsuspecting people standing at the end of the non fast pass lane. Every time we did this they would smile so big and be in disbelief that it just happened. Since then we have been trying to make someone's experience a little more special.

Buy them a treat. Give a compliment, pay for their coffee. Saying Happy Birthday is a big deal but such a small token of cheer. Hand over your balloon. Open the door for them. Give them your seat. Such small acts of kindness will go a long long way.

I remember all the little things. It means so much. Just something small will make someone smile so big today. If you can pay it forward. It's worth it.

acknowledging celebration buttons is the best! DP and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary in the world last summer, and it was overwhelming how many people went out of their way to offer well wishes. There was the odd CM who might offer a little something (a preferred table at a restaurant or something) but it still really stands out to me how many other people were enjoying their trips and took the time to congratulate us.

Let a smaller child stand with your family or in front of you if you have a good view of a parade. We were at MMVCP last year and stood behind a garbage can on the hub so we could see the parade as best we could. There was a large family right on the curb and one of the gentlemen kept looking back at my son who was behind him and to the side a little. After a while, he motioned for my son to come sit with his children. My son's face just lit up. The gentleman then stood where my son had been standing. It was such a sweet gesture. Because he was much taller, the gentleman's view wasn't affected at all when he switched with my son, but my son could then see the parade.

Also, bringing light up bracelets and necklaces to pass out during the nighttime shows.

We gave our balloon away to a little girl when we were waiting for DME to take us to the airport. She looked so happy, and as we walked off, we heard her father tell her, "Wow, that was magical." It was so sweet, and it made us feel a little bit less sad about having to leave.

If you see people trying to get family photos, offer to take it for them so they can all be in the picture.

We offered to quite a few people while we were there and the gratitude was always lovely. I mean, it's not like it's a lot of effort, but you'd have thought we'd offered them the moon by how genuinely pleased everyone we helped was. :)

I'm tall, 6-1, so I make a point of getting a good spot for the parades then find a child behind me and offer to switch spots. Mind you, I make sure my children have a view first, but I always try to look out for others.

Acknowledging the celebration buttons, especially on children, they seem to smile the most. Well wishes for the newlyweds wearing the ears.

I agree with pp, just making sure to do the little things. Please and thank you go a long way with CM. Holding doors, etc.

The biggest thing we do is offering our seats on the bus to those that need it more than we do. It's amazing how shocked people get over this simple courtesy. Simple to me anyway.

I second the glow sticks. The wife and I did this last summer on the buses heading back to the resort. It calms kids for sure.

Honestly I think just being a kind, well mannered and courteous guest is the way to go. People will notice.

If you want to give something material, maybe something little like glow sticks.
