When sending your contract back to Disney how do most people send it:

via normal mail or Recorded mail??

I swear i read a while a go that someone sent theres by recorded mail & that it was later returned back to them as the address was unable to be found

I would love to know which option especially uk brides have chosen

Thanks guys

I sent mine back via UPS Next Day Air. It cost me about $20, but I felt it was well worth it. I sent Bill an email letting him know to expect it, and when it arrived, he shot me an email letting me know. I would definately not trust that package to just regular mail. I would use something that could be tracked in some way.

Good Luck!

I sent mine back by Fed-Ex mostly because I was sending a $4200.00 check.

I faxed mine with a CC authorisation ~ I did post it originally with AirSure (Royal Mail) but it ended up in Finland! :confused3

Oh, they were pathetic about it. Really useless ~ I was so furious!

I just asked my SM and he was great about it. I was close to crying as I was convinced they would give our date away because of my contract not being there on time! I had already had a nightmare because the contract was sent to Gavin's work email over the Christmas holidays so we missed getting it on time, too!

I'm waiting on the email with all the contract and things in it, hopefully it will arrive soon :goodvibes

When sending it back though I will definatly use recorded delivery.

Linz xxx :)

I sent my contract through Royal Mail Air Sure and they also lost it. They told me that they couldn't find the address. How can you not find WDW! So I ended up faxing it and my work were also kind and sent a hard copy with their couriers. I also was very worried that I wouldn't get my date because of Royal Mail!

i did air sure and mine got through fine, only took 5 days which was good, i also sent jack days stuff back the same way and that took weeks to get there!

I'm glad to know I'm not alone ~ I think they must have read FL as FI and sent it to Finland ~ but seriously, WHO has EVER heard of Walt Disney in FINLAND?

I used it for Rev. Miller however and it got there perfectly!:moped:

Is it ok to fax everything over to them them?? I know Doreen said we could fax the cc form but am not sure if we can fax the whole thing?? :confused3

I had a similar problem as orangetiggs when sending Randys contract back to him, we sent it recorded & it took forever to get to him. By the time it arrived i was convinced it had gotten lost as it had just taken way too long, panicking was an understatement at what i was doing  .

To read such mixed reviews does make me so worried:eek: , when documents like these have a deadline in which they have to get there the thought of them going missing/taking weeks freaks me out:headache: . I hope we are allowed to just fax everything over, it ll make everything so much easier :thumbsup2

I faxed mine ~ there were about 30 pages. I stood in the school office, screaming at the fax machine like a crazy woman! :rotfl:

Oh, everything moved so fast after that! I had a WP within 2 weeks. We received our signed contract at our Planning Session in February, but I am sure they would email you a copy of it. :)

Congratulations ~ you are on your wayyyyy!!!!!:thumbsup2

Ahh, sorry ~ We got our passes when we went for the Planning Session ~ but if you aren't going for one then I assume they will either just post them or you'll pick them up on check-in like we did. We got really lovely cards from our Sales Manager with them :)

We don't have a fax and we're not meant to use the work machines, so has anyone scanned and emailed a copy over, or do they not accept that?
I could always post it as well (when my time eventually comes!), but then at least they'd have a copy.

I would think that would be fine ~ it's just the same, isn't it? :) Or, could you sneak in to use the work machine? ::cop:

I could fax it one morning, I'm one of the first here anyway normally, and as long as I let them know at Disney it's not my personal machine they wouldn't fax anything back to would they?

I don't suppose they do have anything they fax to us anyway do they?

Technically we do have a fax machine actually, it's an all in one printer, scanner, fax jobbie, but I don't know how to set up the fax to work, I think I'd have to unplug the phone line from our broadband modem and stuff and I wouldn't really know what I was doing!! :badpc:
