Hi Dis'ers! We are frequent WDW visitors and we'll be in DLR for 3 nights during our honeymoon - 2 park days is less than ideal but we'll be in Maui/Aulani beforehand so that's really all we could swing time-wise.

Here are our options, that I know of, for WOC:
* Dessert Party (Possibility since it's our honeymoon, but I can think of a lot of other things I'd rather spend $160 on..)
* Dining Package (Not too thrilled about any of the options, Carthay seems really nice but I don't know if my fiance will go for the menu)
* FP (How hard is it to get one of these?)

Any other options I'm missing? What do you suggest? We're DVC but we will be staying at the Fairfield Inn. This is one of the things I *have* to do at Disneyland!

The dessert party is rather pricey. It will be interesting to see the reports that come in about it when it begins. If you like dessert, I do not think it is a bad way to go to get an actual seat...as long as the viewing is good.
If you are not thrilled with the menus of any of the restaurants, I would not go that route. I would only do that if I wanted to eat at one of them.
Getting a FP is very easy. They typically do not run out. Show up at least 30-60 minutes early to get a good spot. Here is a thread about the viewing area options: http://www.disboards.com/threads/the-best-world-of-color-viewing-spots.2655956/

Congratulations ~ Aulani is a fantastic resort and a sounds like you are going to have a wonderful honeymoon.

Thank you so much! Now that I'm accustomed to FP+ at WDW, I am just nervous about not getting one. But we'll be there in September and we're big early birds so I'm thinking if we do that first thing (or maybe second after seeing Carsland) we may be OK. I appreciate it, I did not really want to spend $$$ on a meal my fiance wouldn't like so we will see. Thanks again! :)

Then please DO report after your trip! I'm planning my own trip and looking forward to see any details!
