There has to be some kind of secret to each park in order to be able to ride most of the big rides in very little time. I know that in Magic Kingdom, everyone always tends to go to the right where Space Mountain is. So I go to the left and ride Pirates, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and some other things in 45 minutes or less. If you have any clue with the other parks, please comment.

Getting to the parks at rope drop is a sure way to ride lots of ride in a very little time, no matter what park you're talking about.:thumbsup2 Going to the left in Magic Kingdom is one secret that comes up on the boards every so often, so you're good there. (of course families with small children will go straight to Dumbo!) I've never done a touring plan, but people have said they help them get the most rides in each day. DH and I go during slow season, so crowds and getting lots done is not really a problem. Good luck!

Thanks! I know that my father took me to WDW on my birthday one year, and they had a huge Halloween celebration in the Magic Kingdom. So we went to Animal Kingdom or Epcot and rode just about everything. It was pretty awesome.

One thing my family and I have noticed is to avoid the parks with extra magic hours. It's great to be able to spend an extra two hours or so at your favorite park, but the lines are always long and the park is packed. Everyone seems to go to the park with extra hours, leaving the other parks almost empty. This lets you ride more rides in a shorter amount of time; I definitely recommend it!!!!!:yay:

Thanks, the days that a park has extra magic hours are the days that we usually sit in the room and watch a movie or something until we have reservations or until the extra magic hours kick in. I will keep in mind what you said.

I've heard it the other way around, that you should go to the right when going around Magic Kingdom, because most people go clockwise instead of anti-clockwise. Doesn't really work in the other parks because the most popular attractions (Soarin', Toy Story Mania, Expedition Everest) are all on the right side of the park!

Fastpass is always handy. As long as you get to the attraction after the timeslot opens, then you can ride no matter what the deadline for the ticket is.

I've heard it's best to go to the parks the day after they've had Extra Magic Hours to beat the crowds.

Morning always tends to be less crowded due to the lazier families getting to the parks around late morning-noonish.

Rides tend to have shorter queues around the time the parades or fireworks occur, so if you'd rather do rides than watch those, then it's perfect!

Okey dokey. It may just be the days that we go, but it almost seems as if twice as many people go to the right then the left. But maybe it just depends on the day that you go. Thanks for the info.

its pretty much about timing me and my family dont really hav a plan but we just always get to the best rides when the lines are short

If there's a must-do ride at the park your going to, lets say...(Magic Kingdom) Space Mountain... I would run to get a fast pass early in the morning and hit up some of the smaller, less popular rides (haunted mansion, etc) then go for my fast pass, run to the next big, popular ride (splash mountain) then go to a smaller ride...Another GREAT way to hit all of the popular rides really fast and furious, is stay really late or go really early...i'd usually do Magic Kingdom a day when they have extra magic hours late at night!

Hope this helped... :)

The way we do it is we go to ropes drop and we go to the big rides and we ride them then we get fast passes
