With the current situation, what is the best way to go from Poly to Universal or SeaWorld and back without having a rental car?
Thanks

I agree with the above Uber/Lyft suggestion.

Another possibility is a one-day rental. You'd have to price out whether the car rental and parking charges would be less that round-trip Uber/Lyft fares.

I will be going to universal / SeaWorld 3 or 4 days so a rental is out. Is uber or lyft a better choice? Or does it not matter? Also are they allowed in poly or would we have to wait outside of the resort entrance?

Have you considered staying on site at Universal? You get free express passes, you can walk to parks, and IMHO the hotel service is better.

I have thought about this, but the way i have my days split up i don't want to bounce between hotels. Thanks for the suggestion.

Personal choice. I recommend that people have both apps on their phone and price shop before ordering. I personally prefer Uber, but many drivers drive for both companies so there probably isn't much difference in the WDW area.

At WDW, Uber/Lyft can go anywhere regular cars can go...so yes, they're allowed.

I haven't ever taken rideshare from Universal, but I've seen numerous posts saying it's easier to go to one of the hotels to order one than to go out the main exit. Others can give you better suggestions.

Yes, got dropped off and picked up from the Hard Rock hotel. From there, short walk to Studios and short boat ride. If you get dropped off at Ciry Walk, go with the masses from the garages, as drop off is near the parking garages. For Sea World, there is a drop off lane near the entrance, so easier there, to be near the park. And I agree, either car service would be fine. About 1/2 hour to Universal, and Sea World is just a little further up I4.

We also use Uber/Lyft most times, and usually do our drop offs and pick ups at Hard Rock Hotel as PP suggests. Especially when leaving, its much easier to locate your car and its much less busy at the hotel.

Alternatively, Tony Hinds is a private car service that's often recommended on the boards. We've used him many times. He has a 12 passenger van and you can schedule your pick ups with him. We've found his pricing to be on par with taxis, so a little more expensive than Uber/Lyft.

No smart phone here, so we have used taxi service several times. It was more expensive than Uber I'm sure, but it was not out of line IMO. They drop you right at the escalator to the entrance, and there is a line up of taxis right there for the return. No problems.
As far as staying at Universal, I believe that they have shuttles to Sea World, Busch Gardens. I could be wrong but I thought I read it on their site. We never left Universal for other parks while there, so wouldn't have first hand knowledge.

thank you everyone for your suggestions. looks like uber / lyft is the best way. also will take up suggestions to go to hard rock for pick up / drop off.
