Best Way to Get to Chef Mickeys and Back

We have reservations on May 2 at Chef Mickey's for Dinner. We are staying at the All Star Movies. Can anyone tell me the best way to get there, via MONORAIL? Do we take a bus somewhere like, EPCOT or MK and then ride MONORAIL over? HELP.

I'd say the quickest way would be to take the bus to the MK, then just walk on over to the Contemporary.
It's about a 5 - 10 min. walk from the bus loading area.

Hmmm...You could still take the bus to the MK, then walk up to the Monorail platform, and do a couple of loops to the other Monorail resorts. Then hop off when it stops at the Contemporary, when you're ready

If the point is to be on the monorail for as long as possible then..take your resort bus to Epcot. When you get to Epcot, you can take the monorail to TTC. There you will have to change over to the resort monorail line. This one will take you to the CR. Then, after eating you can just walk over to MK, via the pathway (about 8 minute walk) and hop on your resort bus to get back.

When staying @ AS, we used tp catch a bus to the MK an 1-1/2 hours before our ADR time, then transfer to resort monorail. Depending on how much time we have before eating, we'll hop off @ Poly to see the lobby & grounds (sooner or later I'll get to stay there LOL), then head on over to Chef Mickeys at least 1/2 early.

Must admit, lately we just hop in our rental & drive to the Contemp, especially if we'll be leaving near park/parade exit times.
