Best way to get tickets to the San Diego Zoo?

We will be in San Diego this summer and are in need of one-day tickets to the zoo for two adults. I know there are discounts for multiple days / parks, but we will only be able to go one day so I'm wondering if there are discounts to be found. I think we can get 10% off with AAA at the gate, but are there better deals at local grocery stores / Costco / etc?

Are you staying at a hotel? If so check with them .On one trip our discount was better with the hotel than AAA .
