My wife asked if I knew the best way for our family to take a photo with both Mickey and Minnie at the same time. I had to admit, I really don't know. It's easy to get a picture with one or the other, but off hand, I'm not sure how you would get both of them in one shot.

Do any of you DL experts know how my family can get a phot woth both Mickey and Minnie at the same time?

Thank you!
:)

When we did the birthday party at Plaza Inn they both came out at the end for photos. I can't remember if there was a Birthday thing in the background though since they came to our table to get a pic with our son. I've also seen them together at the Halloween party.

They are both at the Surf's Up Mickey breakfast inside the PPH. I didn't realize Mickey came out for birthday parties at Plaza Inn. That's cool to know about!

They are both physically at the Surf's Up character breakfast at Paradise Pier... maybe with some pixie dust you could get them both in the picture. Minnie makes the rounds but Mickey stays near the front as guests enter.

They both go up front for the dance party part, or did when we were there.

Minnie did not come out for the dance party when we were there last month, although she was at the breakfast (Surfs Up).

They both come out together at Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree - we got a great picture with both of them. I don't know how long that is going on though.

another recommendation for the big thunder jamboree.
When they came out, Mickey took my son by the hand and walked him over to their spot. SO CUTE!
And then we got some nice pics with the two of them together. I'll see if I can post one.

By the way ... that Jamboree area is a goldmine for charcters!
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Chip and Dale, couple of bears from the Country Bear Jamboree (Big Al and someone else I forget) ...

Outside the jamboree proper, we also saw Meeko (from Pochahontus) and Brer Bear.

Can you guys tell me if the Thunder Ranch Jamboree is daily during the summer? They make it sound that way on the blog but I can't find it on any schedule. We're arriving on a Sunday and if it's only weekends I want to be sure to fit this in since the rest of our trip is weekdays. It would be the mother load for my kids, my 6yrs olds are huge Donald/Daisy fans and my (almost) 16 would kill for a pic with Mickey and Minnie together.

I agree with the Jamboree being a gold mine! We saw Mickey & Minnie, Goofy & Daisy, Chip & Dale, Clarabel and Horace, all within a 15 minute period. I don't know the hours of it, as we stumbled upon it while eating lunch at Big Thunder BBQ.

This is a quote from the Disney Parks Blog...

Right now, Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, but starting June 18, you’ll be able to say “Howdy!” to your favorite characters here seven days a week all summer long. Adding to the fun, that famous fiddlin’ foursome Billy Hill and the Hillbillies will be performing at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree this summer, too, so y’all come on down!

Are they not together in ToonTown? At WDW they are together in ToonTown i think at Mickey's house.

Thanks for the tip:thumbsup2

Two weekends ago, they were in town square and the photo op was great. Mickey and Minnie with the castle in the background

If you can swing it, line up a little early for Toon Town on a morning when they don't have MM. Mickey and Minnie come out right before and hold hands with some of the children to walk into Toon Town. If you have a couple of kids, you can have them stand together and have one grab Minnie and one grab Mickey. The CMs usually let you sneak up on the side bit to get pics. They are amazing ones, just like what you see in the commercials! I have one of my DD walking with them, and they are some of my favorite pics. Plus, once they get into TT, they start signing autographs!

Well they were...until WDW bulldozed Toontown. It was actually in a bigger building behind Mickey's house, but usually you were routed through Mickey's house to get there.

My first thought at seeing the OP's question was "go to WDW". They have moved to Town Square Theater on Main Street at MK at WDW, and more often than not, they are there together for pictures. We have seen Mickey alone there, but that is more the exception as Minnie is almost always there with him. As WDW vets, when we go to DL (which we also love), we always think it is a bit odd that there is not anywhere that they are regularly out together in their "regular clothes" for pictures. The first week of June, we did see them together in the Town Square area at DL one evening- they were up against a building though, not with the castle in the background like the PP was lucky enough to find. The line was already closed off, so we didn't get a chance to get a picture. It was nice to see them together though! Maybe you will get lucky and find them there. Maybe if you ask at guest services, they will know if they are appearing anywhere together that day for pictures (I know that you can ask about character's schedules at guest services for the WDW parks- I'm not sure about DL, but maybe someone else knows).

This sounds pefect, but probably not a regularly scheduled event, right?

I know, there are very few things better at WDW than DL (in my opinion), but it appears this is one of them. In past years, we've got a family pic with Mickey & Minnie at three of the four parks: MK, AK, and Epcot.

It's very easy to accomplish at WDW - but apparently almost impossible at DL. Some of these suggestions are great for a photo of your child with them both, but as for a family pic it seems like it may not happen, or it will be just blind luck if it does.

I've found them both out at night, right around park close to the right side of Main St. There's a hat store there and this is where I usually find them. I love this "secret" character greeting because they are always dressed up and with the lights in the evening, it makes for a very beautiful picture.:goodvibes

With that being said, it's hard to get them both together unless you catch them right as they come out of the big gate. So maybe ask a CM as it gets close to park closing...they might have some idea of when Mickey & Minnie will be coming out and if you can be one of the 1st to greet them, you can probably snag a really great pic!

Okay here are a couple from the jamboree area from early June.
sorry they are big ... not sure how to resize.

We booked the Surf's Up breakfast for 10:30am. The place was about a quarter full and we pretty much has the characters to ourselves. It would be very easy to get a photo there...but it will cost plenty for a big group.
