We have a 2 pm reservation at WCC. Would the easiest/fastest way be to walk to the Polynesian, take a boat across to Magic Kingdom, then take a different boat to Wilderness Lodge? Or would Monorail from Poly to MK be faster? How much time should we allow? Thank you!

You can't not walk to the Poly. Disney doesn't allow walking on roadways. Your best bet is a cab. Its the quickest way.

Our last trip we went to Wilderness Lodge to walk around after we checked into Shades of Green. We walked to the Poly and took the monorail to MK and then a boat to WL. On the way back, we just did the reverse. I honestly can't remember how long it took, but we had to wait a few minutes for a monorail and then for a boat. You can always give yourselves extra time and just walk around the WL til your reservation.

We always walk from SOG to the Poly to catch the monorail or buses to the parks. The SOG buses are nice to have, but we find we usually just miss one or they are pretty full at certain times so we enjoy the walk to the Poly.

Doesn't SOG offer a bus to MK? I'd take that than boat or bus to WL.
No, the bus runs to TTC, so they would then have to take either the Ferryboat to MK, or the Monorail to MK or CR, to get to a boat to WL. The bus runs every 20 minutes, while the walk from SOG to Poly is about 10 minutes, so the bus probably would take longer in the end.

SOG used to run the "Shady Shuttle", a golf cart that took you about half the way to the Poly, and then you would walk the rest of the way. I don't know the current status of that.

As to the original question, I don't know whether the boat or the monorail is faster overall from Poly to MK. The monorail definitely moves faster and runs more frequently, but it stops at GF, while the boat is non-stop in that direction. They're probably within 5 minutes of each other overall.

did you ever get an answer to this? I am thinking of the same restaurant for lunch.
