Hey all,

Quick question. Were going to be staying at CBR the week of the 26th. (Whoohoo, it's ALMOST time to go)!!!!!! :cool1:

Anywho, we have rezzies for lunchtime at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge. Were planning on spending some morning pool time at CBR, and then heading to FW for lunch. Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to get from one to the other, and how much time to allot if we have a noon reservation? I always get confused trying to get from resort to resort as I don't think there are any direct routes?

We won't have a rental car, and are thinking, the only way is to take a bus to MK, then either a boat, or another bus, to FW? Thoughts, comments, better ideas?

Thanks!

First of all, the Whispering Canyon is at the Wilderness Lodge....not Fort Wilderness.

The best way to get from the CBR to Wilderness Lodge is to hop a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then catch a boat to Wilderness Lodge.

Disney castmembers told us to allot an hour travel time but it didn't take us quite that long.

Doh! Thanks on the name thing.....brain typing one thing, fingers another, LOL. I will edit\correct in the original post. :lmao:

WooHoo!!! Our family will be staying at CBR during the same time! 11 more days til we hop in our van to make the trek down! WooHoo!!!

Anyways, to answer your question...just take the bus to the MK and hop on the boat to WL. I would give yourself an hour travel time, but it shouldn't take that long.

C ya at the CBR!!!

Sweet! and Thanks! I can't believe how close this trip is, LOL.

Our daughter called me in from the garage last night in hysterics, screaming daddy, daddy, come quick! (I thought the worst of course)! I proceed to follow her to the family room where there is a Disney commercial on TV, the one with the kids in their room at night before a trip to DW I think). She says to me, and she's 5, "we have less then two weeks before we visit the house of the mouse! :)

I had to tell her I'm probably MORE excited then her! :goodvibes

Awwwwww!!! Your daughter sounds adorable!!! She's going to love CBR! How many children do you have?

We have 17 in our group this year with ages ranging from 8 months to 93 years old. :)

Wow, 17 sounds like a BIG trip! We had a family sized outing back in April, but this one is just going to be myself, wife and daughter. (Only one child at the moment, but quite possibly two by next year). :goodvibes

I'm hoping she loves CBR as much as she enjoyed All Star Movies. She still want to go back to the Fantasia Pool in the worst way! She also keep calling CBR the "Pirates of the Caribbean Beach Resort", LOL, and yes, she want to know if Captain Jack Sparrow is going to be there!
