Best way to get from Boardwalk to FW

Hi there. Just wondering what is the best way (besides a cab ride) of getting from the Boardwalk to Fort Wilderness with Disney transportation?

Walk or take the Friendship boat to HS, then catch a bus to FW. That's easiest IMO!

thank you. i have to check the times that HS opens and when the buses run. We need to be in FW early for our Segway tour

Are you going to Trail's End or HDDR? If so, you could take a bus from BWI to MK and boat over to FW. The FW boat dock is within easy walking distance of both places.

Note: Taking a bus from DHS would require a transfer to an internal FW bus at Settlement Depot.
