We thought of spending half a day at Blizzard Beach and half at Typhoon Lagoon since we would already be wet and in our bathing suits. Do we have to go back to our resort or the transportation center to go from one to the other or is there a bus that comes by Blizzard beach that goes directly to Typhoon lagoon?

I don't know of any direct bus, but you can take a bus to one of the closer resorts (the All Stars) and then take a direct but to Typhoon Lagoon.

TL can be a slow journey. There is no direct bus from BB, and the TL busses are also the downtown disney busses (but there are 3 DD stops - Marketplace, Pleasure Island and Westside, and THEN you go to TL). Take any bus from BB to one of the closer resorts with only 1 bus stop (go Boardwalk or Swan/Dolphin), and then take a DD/TL bus. Your fastest bet would be a taxi, if you want to spend about $10 or $12

Whatever you do, do NOT change busses at Carribbean Beach. We made this mistake once trying to get to TL - you end up going to all 7 or 8 stops at CB - it will eat up a lot of time. For the same reason, I would also axe Coronado Springs, although it is not as bad.

A bus to Downtown Disney might be better - if you go to a resort, you might have to go to Downtown Disney first anyway before they drop you at Typhoon Lagoon. Change at any of the Downtown Disney stops.

I don't think there is a bus to DD directly from BB. Maybe

Nope.

This is one of those situations where a taxi would be best by far.

If you use Disney transportation I would do what MJames41 said. Go to All Stars (5 minutes away), then take the bus to DD. Stay on the bus through the three DD stops and the next stop is Typhoon Lagoon (about a 30 - 40 minute ride).

Be sure to check first to see if TL is accepting guests. On hot days the water parks often reach their maximum occupancy and they close the turnstiles to new arrivals.

also do BB First! We were there a few weeks ago, and I couldn't get the boys out
of bed, so by 11:30 we were there and they were already at capacity!
They were disappointed but we still had a great day at TL.

They were supposed to open back up after 2pm...but we never went
back, we were having to much fun.
