Best way to get from AK to Hoop-de-Doo?

Hi there! Just wondered if I could have some pointers to the most efficient way to get from AK to Fort Wilderness for the Hoop-de-doo-Revue. We do have a car but I heard that the parking lot is quite a way from Pioneer Hall, so would it be more beneficial to get a boat or bus from maybe the TTC or somewhere else? Help please!

PS)AK shuts at 5pm and our PS is not till 7:15 so we have time.

There are a couple of different ways:

Take a bus from AK marked Fort Wilderness, then at the entrance you'll have to take an internal loop bus.

I think the quickest way would be to board a bus at AK marked Magic Kingdom, then when you get there, take the boat across the lake right to the Hoop Dee Doo. The HDDR is right there when you walk past the beach.

Enjoy the HDDR...it's a must!

Would I still be able to get a bus back to AK at that time though to get my car?

I hadn't thought about that...maybe the best thing is to drive to the MK and get the boat.

Drive to FW. Park in the guest lot and you will be right by the bus stop. Catch a bus going into FW and it will take you to the Pioneer Hall area.

This will be the best way to get back to your vehicle after the dinner, too. If you get there early you can enjoy FW--sit in a rocking chair on the porch and watch the world go by.

I have to second the suggestion of parking at MK and taking the boat across. It's very easy and direct. We've also driven to FW and taken the internal buses, and it was very time-consuming and annoying. The bus was absolutely mobbed after HDDR. With the boat it was easy and uncrowded in both directions.

Another vote for taking the boat from MK. It really is a nice boat road.

Busses run back to the AK until about 10 pm, from the other 3 parks.

Just a reminder.

The bus from AK drops you off at the TTC. You will need to take the big ferry or the monorail to MK to catch the FW boat.

If you drive to the MK you would end up at the TTC and have to do the above.

My vote is to park at FW and take the internal bus to Pioneer Hall. The 30-45 minutes it will take you to get back to the TTC, would still be more than it would take to get back to your car at FW.

I'd take my car & the internal bus. Easier than leaving you car at AK & fussing about with other transportation, then doing it all again after dinner.
