Best way to/from HDDR from BCV with Scooter

I have severe COPD and become very short of breath walking long distances. I will have an ECV and will be staying at BCV. We are thinking we would like to go to HDDR for an early dinner one evening and then back to MK for a bit before heading back to BC.
What is the best route?
I am thinking bus to MK, boat to FW, boat to MK and bus to BCV.
But I am not certain the boat to/from MK to FW accommodates a scooter.

unless they have to use the smaller boats you should be fine with the boat. a few times the water level was too low but very few. know you did not ask but unless something has changed you will enter thru a special door in Trails End which is next door as there are steps at all other doors. this confused me the first time as I knew we were not eating at Trails End so I couldn't figure why I had to go in there

If you get to MK and find that the boats to FtW are not taking scooters, you will be able to take a bus from MK to WL, and then transfer to a bus to FtW which goes directly to Pioneer Hall.

I think they sometimes use a mixture of watercraft on the MK-FtW route, so if the 1st boat is the type that can't take scooters, make sure you check with the Watercraft cms before giving up.

So if I read this correctly it is dependent on the type/ size of the boat, & we won't know that until travel time.

from the time we were there it depend on water level and if dock met up right with the boat so you could get ECV on and off, in fact more of a problem getting off. not usually a problem
