Best Way to Find Cancellations

Is it best to call DDR or check their website to find cancellations? Do they update the website as soon as they get the cancellation? Thank you!

You can do either, but I recommend checking on-line. I seem to have better luck and I can check & reserve 24/7. If someone on the cancellation thread says they're canceling, you can private message them to set up a time when you're both online. When they cancel, you should be able to refresh your page and see the available reservation.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! i have been very anal about checking the ADRs i want. I would check online while at work at least three times every hour, AT LEAST! And ive always gotten the ADRs i wanted. Never fails.

Where do I go to see cancellations? Is there a list showing cancellations? That would be wonderful. I do go to the website and try to plug in restaurants that we'd like, but I'm not having any luck!

There is not a special list of cancellations. I have cancelled something and then checked to see if it was posted and was able to see it right away.

One thing to do is check on here for the cancellation thread for your trip month. That way you may be able to set up a time with someone that is going to cancel an ADR.

I didn't think there would be a list, but I was dreaming! Yes, I do check my trip month thread, but I'm not having much luck. We only have 19 days left! We will still have a great time even if we don't eat at our favs.

For those whose persistence has paid off, how many people were you able to get an ADR for? We have 7 and are staying at the Poly and woud really love to have dinner at Ohana. It just seems like 7 people is too many to hope for.

I just needed ADRs for 2 people, but during my searching I had found some that were for more. When I found those I would post them in the September Cancellation thread for others to to see.

How would you see ADRs available for more than just your party? I am trying to add another family who we just found out will be there the same time to some of our ADRs so I would like to see all possible ADRs available

I am checking every day and have had great luck. I've been able to tweak my ADRs a couple of times..even getting better times at Ohanas and Chef Mickeys. Just keep checking. I think the "magic" time is about 45 days out from your trip, as that's when most either pay off their package or cancel. Another good time to check is when Disney changes their park hours-some people freak and change their ADRs because of that.
