Best Way to DTD

Hello We are arriving at the Fort in 8 days!! Can anyone tell me the best way to get to DTD? Our plane arrives in Orlando at 5pm. We have ADR's at Captain Jacks at 8pm. We are taking Magical Express, I know we are pushing it, but I believe if all goes well, we should be fine. Do we take a bus or a boat to WL?? Thank you

Take the bus from the Fort to DTD.

As posted, take the bus to DTD, it leaves from the Outpost. Bus to WL leaves from Settlement. I am not sure the schedule for the boat to WL. Sometimes the MK boat stops at WL. I believe the boat to CR will stop at WL on way back to FW. Ask one of the CM's at the dock. If you have the time, I always prefer the boats

I'll tell you one thing, don't try getting to DTD from a theme park. We were at MGM last weekend, and in order to get to DTD, we had to go to a resort first, then switch buses, and get on another. That was the biggest pain in the butt!

They did that to stop people from parking for free at DTD and then going to the parks.

True, but why not ask to see the resort ID card instead like they use to? It would be handy for guests to be able to still go from parks to DTD.

here is an easy way to get to dtd from any theme park ... from any theme park take the saratoga sprins bus at the first stop transfer to a dtd bus or take the walking path to dtd ,,,
