Best way to do this?

Hello fello DVCers

We are headed home for a Grand Gathering the week after thanksgiving. We have a family coming with us that has never been and they are coming from out of country. We use AP so I have not had to purchase Tix in a while and unsure the best option.

They will be at my home on Black Friday, I know I can go to the Disney Store and they can get their tickets there but I would rather skip the mall that day.

Can they buy the park hoppers at check in when they pay for the meal plan? Or would Downtown Disney be the better option (do they do PH there?) as we will spend Sat shopping before even going to a park on Sunday after driving down.

I would just buy at the conceirge desk at your resort. Shouldn't be busy and they can get any tix you like. You can also try one of the local discounters - I've used mapleleaftickets - they deliver to resorts too.

TY hon, I was not really sure on the buying of tix anymore and the whole process of late. This is much easier.

I used Undercover Tourist for our Grand Gathering (16 tickets) and they were great, overnighted the tickets at no additional charge and couldn't beat the price (well in comparison to the other sites and Disney direct).

When we got to the hotel and everyone was checked in I took all the room cards and had the tickets added to the room cards too, so they only had to carry one card (KTTW card).

You can purchase them at your resort front desk, at the window to any park, or order them online at http://bookwdw.reservations.disney.go.com/ibcwdw/en_US/_framework/components/processEngine.

If you know a travel agent who used disneytravelagent.com, have them book them for you, and then do a will-call pickup at one of the park entrances.

We have 16 of us going in December, and we use AP's as well - ordered the rest of the group's tickets through Undercover Tourist - great prices (used mousesavers.com newsletter link), and they're being shipped free! Used them last year and had no problem, plus saved $20 each.
