When we reserved our Bay view room at PBH, we requested an upper floor in the west wing. Is there anything else we can do, before we arrive, to make sure our requests are met.

Should we write, call or fax the hotel .......if yes, then when?

I think that the best bet is to wait until check-in but I'm bumping in case there are better ideas.

We have stayed at the RP twice before in poolview rooms with great views. This year I decided to save a few dollars with the standard room. Anyone have any recommendations for rooms with a nice view of the parks? Also, I am a Loews member using the ER, any chance of a free upgrade to poolview?

714atuf,
I have faxed my room request to RPR about 4 days prior to arrival and rec'd everything I asked for. I'm going to try this at PBH for our trip a week from Monday and I'll let you know what happens. I'm Club now and I think I'll request 2663. But since we are staying on a Monday and Tuesday I'm going to try for a sweet suite upgrade at check in.

MotherFletcher--who did you fax the request to for RPR? Did you ask for a particular room # or did you specify the type of room you wanted? You post on park view rooms at RPR was very hepful. I was unclear, however, on whether you would prefer 1733 to 1729. We are looking for a great view of the parks and hopefully the fireworks--which would you recommend?

Anyone have info on views for king suites at RPR? We would like to be able to see the fireworks from the suite. Do they have such suites in tower 1?

I'm-
We stayed in 1729 which is 2 doors from the end of the Y that is physically the closest to IOA. #1733 would be the closest as it is the very end.
I faxed to 407-503-3003. I requested the Tower and the Floor. I probably should have included the room number or like 1719-1733 odd numbers or 1740-1754 even numbers because 1705 wasn't the best. I have stayed in 1712 on the pool view side and find I prefer looking at the Hulk. I included my Loews 1st #, 2 queens, no smoking preference, arrival, and departure to att. Room Assignment. For cuteness factor I included a sketch of Shrek wrapped in Mummy gauze which was timely.
RyGuy is the man for sweet suite info. I think they are all in Tower 3. Tower 1 kind of obstructs Tower 3's view of the park on their pool view side except for a few on the end of 3 that have a pool view and a park view. I think the Prez suite is on the top with other suites on that floor and the 6th.
Isn't fireworks going to be from Universal and not IOA?
