We are planning a vacation for our large family and staying offsite. I want to buy tickets that are able to link to fastpass, etc.... I know undercover tourist and a few others have discounted tickets, but I also know if I went to like Target or somewhere similar I would get 5% off using my RedCard.
So my question is this, if I buy tickets through undercover tourist, can I pay with Disney gift cards to take advantage of both discounts? If not, then what is the best route for buying tickets for 10 people?

You cannot use Disney gift cards to buy tickets from third-party sellers.

You'll need to do the math to see what will be cheapest. Compare prices from Parksavers, Undercover Tourist, and buying directly from Disney with your discounted gift cards (make sure your prices include taxes.)

UT wants cash, not Disney GCs. Disney GCs are only accepted by Disney for payment. Some TAs will accept Disney GCs but only because they submit the GC codes to Disney on your behalf.

The best route is going to depend on the tickets that you're buying (how many days? hoppers? wpf&m?, etc). Some ticket sellers will have better deals than others and many of them have short-term sales on specific tickets.

No. The cheapest option for me would be to buy through Disney because I can get about 20% off by paying with gift cards. Otherwise I would probably go the UT route (and have in the past).

How can you get 20% off? I have to be missing something... and with us taking the whole family we need the cheapest option possible.
Especially since we are buying the more expensive tickets (half will be 7day regular tickets and the other half will be 10day park hoppers since a few are coming down a little later on due to school schedules)

Check the Disney Gift Card Deals thread. There's a lot of discussion about how to get more than just Target's 5% discount on Disney GCs, but you have to be willing to at it. Plus you actually need to read the thread (starting around page 530 if you want to fast-forward).

I buy Target gift cards at Kroger when they run 4x fuel points and pay with my Amex which gives me 6% back at grocery stores. Then I use those online at Target with my redcard set as my default payment to buy Disney gift cards.

@marionette is right--hop on that thread because we all do it differently depending on where we live, what credit cards we have, how much gas our vehicles use, how risk averse we are, what our time frame is, etc.

Churn, baby churn!

Parksavers has a space for a coupon code on their checkout cart. Anyone else see or use a code for Parksavers? I did a search but didn't come up with any legit codes so I'm wondering if they exist.

Thanks!

I see coupons but think they are bogus?? one claims 15% off CE237B12, and another 20% off 200.00 or more 83A18C23

Check through your workplace too, some have programs that give decent discounts. A family friend showed me a quote for a 4 day straight non hopper ticket that is much less than I have seen since the $199 DVC promo. I told her to jump quickly. My wife and I have 2 different programs for Disney tickets, but for what we wanted, UT was the cheapest. There also was a recent cash back offer at UT with using an Amex card ($30 maybe), not sure if that remains.

I'm itching to buy the 7 day hoppers at the 389.46 price! We dont need 7 day hoppers but the 5 day base that I was going to get isnt much less. and the thought of buying them and then upgrading to AP's and use them for april 2018's trip is enticing!

my husband works for the post office and no perks at all. and my job as a dance teacher also no perks, oh well. Parksavers right now is still less

If the post office is union you might be able to use unionplus.com, you would need to know the union they would be part of. Depending on the union the prices vary. Some better than UCT.

union tickets werent less than parksavers oh well but at least I set up a profile on that page for discounts in future! thanks!
