How would I get from the VWL to the TTC? Boat to MK- monorail to TTC? Bus to MK- monorail to TTC? Boat to Poly-monorail to TTC? Boat to Poly- walk to TTC? Help!

Boat to the Contemp-monorail to the TTC. The boat goes to the Fort wilderness then over to the Contemp.

We did it the boat/monorail way, but if I had it to do again, I would walk if it wasn't too hot.

You can't walk from VWL or WL to the TTC without crossing some busy streets and walking along some busy streets with lots of buses going by.

Right, you have to cross streets, and there isn't a path. I wouldn't do it with children, but if I didn't have a car, and it wasn't very hot, I would try walking to TTC from WL. I think it would take less time.

PS. Now, I have asked bus drivers drop me off at odd places in the past, but with the new system, I don't know if they will do that. Also, if there is a bus to MK from WL, then from MK to TTC via monorail could be faster than walking I think.

There is a direct bus from WL to MK.

bunny, there is no boat from WL to the Polynesian. The fastest would probably be bus to MK and then ferry or monorail to the TTC. The ferry is actually quite quick and is a shorter walk from the buses. If one is about to leave, hop on it. Otherwise, take the express monorail.

But curious why you want to go to the TTC? Are you going to SOG or catching a bus offsite? Don't go there hoping to catch a bus to another resort as the resort buses don't go to the TTC.

Take the boat from WL to Contemporary (make sure it goes directly to Contemporary and not to Ft Wilderness first - that will take more time). Walk to the monorail at the Contemporary from the boat dock. Get off at the next stop - TTC. This saves you a bit over taking the boat to MK, getting on the direct monorail to TTC.

It's not quite that bad - you'd have to cross World Drive without a stoplight, but that's the only real challenge.

The key is to go out the "back way" of the Lodge, through the CM parking lot. This route would take you to the back door of the TTC. Some of the internet satellite view sites can make it fairly easy to see. It's one of those things that I want to do some time just for the experience.

However, Disney does not want you walking along the roads especially where there are lots of buses and other vehicles. It's just not safe. If they intended for you to cross there, they would install a crosswalk and stop light with sidewalks.
