Best way from Poly to WL?

Does the boat run from the Poly to WL? Or should we take the monorail to MK, then bus to WL??

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not believe there is a direct boat from Poly to WL. You could do your route OR you could just monorail to CR and take the boat to WL from there.

I don't think there is a boat from the Poly to WL. You could take the boat to MK, then the boat to WL, the Express Monorail to MK, then bus or boat to WL, or Monorail to CR, then boat to WL (as pp said)

We were just at the Poly and one of the great things about this resort was the variety of transportation options!

I seem to recall someone saying that you can take the monorail from the Poly to GF and take any bus from there as the WL shares bus service with GF, and drops off at GF first. Anyone know if this is still the case?

Also, can you take a boat from the TTC? I don't remember if boats go from TTC to WL.

Those are some good ideas! Does anyone know about the GF option? Or the TTC option??

I think you can take the boat from WL to MK and then take a boat or monorail to the Poly. I don't think there is a boat from TTC to WL. However, if this is because of an ADR at the Poly, be aware of the time transportation stops and starts. We once had dinner at the GF and then missed the last boat back to WL from MK. Wonderful CMs from the GF drove us back to WL.

To make it really interesting you can take the monorail from Poly to Contemporary and then take the boat to Wilderness Lodge via Fort Wildnerness. I believe the boat makes a loop - C, WL, FW.

Goodness, I used to know this. Something about it goes clockwise one half of the day and counter clockwise the other half of the day. Unfortunately, I can't remember which is which.

Monorail -> Contemporary -> WL is the way I would go.

The boat tries to give the best service to WL (over FW), depending on the way most people are traveling that time of day. Per AllEars they switch to counter-clockwise at 3.

In the eighties you used to be able to take the boat from the Poly directly to Ft. Wilderness.

Thanks everybody! I think we will definitely take the monorail to CR, then the boat! That way we can skip the madhouse at MK!!!
