Best way from Disney to Universal?

What is the best way to get from The All Star hotels to Universal? We want to go to IOA for a day, but really don't want to rent a car for the whole week. Seems like more trouble than it's worth to try to rent one for the day to just park it at the other park. Anyone know how much a taxi to Universal is? How about shuttle services? I seem to remember something about a round trip service that does this. Has anyone done this before?

I did find a town car service that will do it round trip for $55. Anyone know of anything cheaper? Would a taxi be less?

Mears has a shuttle from your hotel to Universal. I've used them before and it's just OK. You have to call ahead (2 hrs I think) to have them pick you up. It's been a while since I've used them. They actually forgot to pick us up once!
The next time I probably would take a taxi because Mears was such a hassle.
