We are heading down to Orlando for our second visit ever, June 6-13. Staying in time share condo, Orange Lakes. Did all Disney Parks last time, 2 years ago, so this trip is about Univ Studios/IOA and KSC visit. Would like to include a water park but it seems there are several. Any opinions on which is the best (for 2 adults, 2 boys - ages 8,11) ??

I'm no expert, but we love waterparks. We did all Disney last year, too. We loved Blizzard Beach's slides, finding them much "gentler" than the ones at Typhoon Lagoon. We really, really liked the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon and the shark reef swim there.

We are looking forward to Aquatica this year, it looks like lots of fun in the pictures and we are doing Sea World, so we got the two park pass this year.

We have been to Wet N Wild several times, and it has great rides, too. At 8, your youngest it probably too big for the "kiddie" area, but maybe too small for the wildest waterslides.

My 8 year old liked Blizzard Beach, my 11 and 14 year olds liked Typhoon Lagoon for the wave pool.

Suggestions? I say, look into the second day free or online purchase of a 7 day unlimited pass at Sea World/ Aquatica or the 14 day Flex Ticket. The flex ticket will get you Wet N Wild, and I think you can even add Aquatica to the Flex Ticket for an additional fee.

been to wet n wild, blizzard, and typhoon. i have not been to aquatica, but quite frankly, i have not heard great things about that. our families favorite is typhoon. mostly for the wave pool. when lines get long at the slides, the wave pool can keep you happy for hours.

Heard in other forums they get to capac early(Aquitica)then turn peeps away. It's new but if anything like SW It should be great themed.:thumbsup2

We loved aquatica (2 adults, 1 boy 9 & 1 girl 11). The boy is only 48" tall and he was able to get on everything. I talked to one of the lifeguards and he said it has gotten alot less busy in the last couple of weeks there now that spring break is over. I've never been to the Disney parks so I can't compare it, but I thought is was a lot nicer than Wet n wild. We went to Aquatica on a Sunday, Tuesday & Saturday and Tuesday was WAY less busier than the weekend. Had no problems getting on the rides with a pretty short wait. And there's never a wait to get onto the rapid & lazy rivers, which was our favorite thing to do in the park. We did get there right when they opened and we left by 1pm on all 3 days to head over to Seaworld so I don't know how the afternoons are. I don't know when they get out of school in Florida, but if the kids are still in school I would absolutely suggest you head there on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday & try to get there right before it opens.

& another suggestion - unless you need to carry alot of things around with you, walk in with nothing but your bathing suits on. Buy one of the little waterproof packs for keys, cash, tickets and credit cards (you can get them at the 1st booth in the park) & you can skip the VERY long lines for bag check and to get a locker. There's no special line for no bags, so just walk around everyone and go right up to the turnstiles. Have fun on your trip!

Most of the schools in Central Florida get out the week of June 2 - 6.
