best walkling sandals for men !

trying to help a couple of guys out in their late 40's .. need a great comfort walking sandal for walking all day at disney !
not crocs or running shoes ... any suggestions / tips ?

We're big fans of Chacos. They're comfy and super durable. FH and I both have pairs. He wears his for hiking and backpacking and hasn't had a complaint yet.

Reef is the only way to go. Plus the tab to open your "soda" bottle works great.

thanks ... i will pass these choices along.. i have never even heard of these before... another name that was given to me was Merrell ?? my colleague said it was the most comfy shoe he has ever owned.

Merrell and Saloman both make vary comfortable and well made shoes. They will make Nike feel like they belong at Walmart.

If you have a REI or other high end outdoor store nearby, go try on the shoes/ sandals there.

I was a huge Teva fan for a long time and I would still recommend them, but the last few years I've been wearing Merrell sandals. They seem to be a bit lighter and more comfortable. IMHO you can't go wrong with either.

My DH always wore Teva sandals in the summer, until he bought a pair of Merrells last year. Now he won't wear anything else! The ones that he loves are closed toe, similar in style to Keens.

A friend suggested to me Birkenstock Comos. He said that after a few days of wearing them you almost forget they are on your feet. Cheers!

I got a pair of Keens a few years ago for our trip after reading about them on the DIS.... love love love these shoes! They have survived 2 WDW trips and will be making a 3rd shortly. Got my DH(41) a pair for our upcoming trip, he used to be a Crocs fan, but he hasn't taken the Keen's off since he got them. He is a convert.

Rainbow sandals are my favorite for sure. At first they aren't very comfortable because you have to break them in. Once you do though they mold to your feet and are perfect. They are all made of leather so they don't dry your feet out.
