I need some advice about what are considered to be the best walking sandals for WDW. I normally would wear sneakers, but prefer sandals. Please help :confused3

I stick to tennis shoes, but my DH and oldest DD like to wear their Birkenstocks. :earsboy:

I love the Merrill slip on things. Hate that it's gonna be too cold for them this trip :( guess I'll take my Merrill Jungle Slip on mics :)

Hi, I love merrel, too. Also Keen makes some VERY comfy sandals and shoes. Clarks and Born have kept me comfy at WDW, too.

I always worry about my footwear. If my feet hurt my whole body aches.

I really have found that the more pricey shoes are definitely more supportive and work better for me. It is worth the investment. I used to be sooooo achy after a long day and now that I wear good quality shoes - also I buy 1/2 to 1 size larger than I used to - I am so much better off!!

Good Luck!!

Tevas & Clarks for me. Have also used Naots in the past.
Tevas are particularly nice for days you know you're getting wet. I just started using Clarks last year & like them because they are a bit dressier if I'm feeling more on the fem side. princess:

Earth Shoes for me!
bought from walmart on both visits to WDW and they were soooo comfy, they have got gel soles and leather uppers - only drawback is that they aren't really for the fashion concious!!!

Keen definitely! I have the reddish colored nylon ones - they are super comfy and get better with time - even my 80 YO g-ma has a pair and my mom who has MS and needs good support - I highly reccomend those!

I swear by my Teva's. I have two different pair, and they are both great. My husband has Teva's too, but his new ones hurt his feet for some reason. Get the San Marcos, Del Mar or Pretty Rugged Leather. The Terra Fi or any other that has the texture on the insole rubs the bottom of my feet. Good luck and buy them in plenty of time before your trip to break them in!

I used to wear sneakers and always got blisters. Now I use sandals and I haven't got blisters on the last 3 trips!

I wear both Teva Pretty Rugged and Ecco Cosmos. Both very comfortable and no rubbing so no blisters.

Another vote for Earth Shoe Sandals from Walmart....Mine are adjustable strap ones so you can adjust it just to the right size for you foot, gel soles and very very comfy.... :cool1:

We wear Nike Straprunners. The straps from Tevas hit my little toe in the wrong place.
