can anyone tell me of a few good places to first watch spectromagic and then wishes fireworks? the last (and first) time we were at disney we did not have a good view of either.
thanks to all who reply! :earsgirl:

On January 20, we watched Spectromagic from in front of the covered porch by the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon in Frontierland. We like that spot because you can usually sit on the brick planters until the parade starts and the just stand up to watch. It isn't usually too crowded.

But to watch Wishes I would recommend standing in the middle of Main Street. We watched it from the bridge to Tomorrowland one night, but the fireworks are "off-center" from there. It was much better looking straight at the castle from Main Street.

There was plenty of time to move from Frontierland to Main Street before the fireworks started.

I think that Wishes was designed for the best view from Main Street. :flower:

Spectro is pretty from wherever you can get the best seat. Depending on the time of year and how crowded the park is determines how early you should claim your spot on the curb. We like to view Spectro from the hub, by Casey's on Main Street, or close to the outside seating area for the Plaza Restaurant (if you want to see Tink fly, be sure you don't sit under any trees!). From those spots we are close to where we want to be for Wishes when Spectro is over.

I'm glad you are getting to see both of these on this trip, they are not to be missed in my opinion! :goodvibes

Have fun!! :cheer2:

Wishes - the tables near the Plaza Counter Service Restaurant (between Main St and Tomorrowland). It gives you a great view of the fireworks and Tinkerbell flies almost directly overhead. I usually grab some food and get a table at the very front about 45 minutes before the show.

Illuminations - the benches in China. Much better location than the others I've been to (Rose & Crown, Morocco boat landing, Germany). You can see everything from here - the fireworks, the globe and the water show - without any problems. Again, I usually grab some counter service and pick a bench right up against the railing about 45 minutes before the show

Our magical spot for viewing wishes is on the walkway between crystal palace and casey's. You can get there early and stake out the spot right near the roped/chained off area. It's perfect cause no one can get in front of you and you have a perfect view of the castle and show.
p against the railing about 45 minutes before the show.

If you don't mind waiting, get to the hub about 90 minutes before parade time and grab a place on the curb facing the bridge leading to Liberty Square. You've got primo seats for the parade, then you can just stand up and watch Wishes over the castle! We'll stake our claim, then someone will go get dinner or (if there are two Spectros running) fastpasses for later.

I also like the 2nd floor of the train station for Wishes. Close to exit.

Ohh! I think that would be the best spot! I haven't seen it from there yet! I think I will try that next time!! :Pinkbounc

How early do you suggest getting there?
