2 rooms
1 with 2 adults and a 2 year old
1 with 2 adults (grandparents of 2 year old)
Hopefully connecting or at least close.
Thanks

pop is nice and we had a connecting room..

if the 2 year old was older i would say movies but at that age it isn't as big a deal and you adults will like pop!

IMO, whatever theme floats your boat!! I think POP would fun for the grandparents, because the 2 yr old really won't "get it". They will just big, bright, loud colors. Trust me, all my 2 yr old knew was we were at Disney. She called the room "our Mickey Mouse house" and we were in All Star Music.

If you wanted to all be together, the All Star Music has a family suite. There is a bedroom with a QS bed, and the living area has pull outs for a full & 2 twin size beds. You also get 2 bathrooms, 2 tvs, and the kitchenette. It is about $15-20 more a night than getting 2 regular rooms. This is the cheapest option for all of you to be "together" without being on top of one another. You will all fit in a single room at any resort, because your child is an "infant" in Disney's eyes, but that can get crowded only having 1 bathroom for 4 adults.

We've stayed at Pop several times, but not the other values so I can't really compare.

All the value resorts have connecting rooms, but they are a request and not guaranteed. When you book the two rooms you can ask them to link your reservations together and request connecting rooms.

MIL joined us for a few nights during our last trip and we had connecting rooms. Her room wound up being handicapped accessible and had a king sized bed (we had not requested that). The kids enjoyed going over to her room and all watching TV on the low bed. It was nice to have the connecting rooms, especially one evening when DH and I went out. The kids could hang out in MIL's room, but they had easy access to their pjs and other stuff in our room.

Also, just ask at the front desk when you check-in if they gave you connecting rooms and the location. They will change your room(s) if they can. Last year we checked in around noon and were given a room in the 90s section, but prefer the 70s. The CM was able to switch us to the building we wanted, but we had to wait until 4:00 for the room to be ready. They are very friendly and will try their best to accomadate your requests.
