Best value at Disney- Spoodles Breakfast Platter!

Just had breakfast at Spoodles for the 2nd time and couldn't help but think that it's a really good value for the money. For $11.99, adults can order the all you can eat breakfast platter, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and french toast. The cost is $5.99 for children. After paying over $130 for dinner for family of 5 at Crystal Palace (although it was good), it was nice to eat somewhere that was really worth the cost.

Spoodles used to be my favorite until they cut down on a lot of items on their bfast platter. They used to serve the platter with bfast pastries but now they don't.

Now my favorite bfast place is Trails End for the same price $11.99 you get these stuff:

omelet of the day
scrambled eggs
sausage and bacon
beef hash
Mickey Waffles
hot cinnamon spice apples
sausage gravy with biscuits

Yes, but we did not need them--- Even Christmas morning.

But during sunday brunch they tend to be quite busy.
So if you're going on sunday I would try to make a ressie just to be safe.
But on other days, they're pretty quiet.

Trails End sounds great, but if you're staying at an Epcot Resort, it's really not worth going over for it...

It is just breakfast, after all.

I tried it at breakfast because of the talk on DIS and ummmm.....didn't like it! I had an awful breakfast. And I am not even picky.

But many love it!!!!!!!

Yeah, us too. We ate dinner there in September and it STUNK! Never again!

We ate at Spoodles twice for breakfast while staying at the Boardwalk. DH ordered the platter but our waiter never came back until he brought the check - 45 minutes later. So wasn't a great deal. We gave it another chance the next day and waited over an hour for our order. Wasn't even crowded. I wasn't impressed with the food or the waitstaff. The manager was nice (how long can it take to bring a child some cold cereal & milk- apparently an hour) and didn't charge us. But totally not impressed.
