1) Where was you best vacation just you and your significant other??? any why?

:love2:

2) Where was your best family vacation? and why?

:grouphug:

Ours would be Maui, Hawaii. Just loved the atmosphere, the romance and the food and everything else. Hope to go back again and see the rest of the Hawaiian Islands.

We don't have any children, but we had a great vacation with our nieces and their parents to WDW in November, 2002.

Best vacation ever well that is a tough one. Are we talking vacation as in a week or more or just a weekend getaway? We love our weekends when we go to Collingwood skiingbut I would have to say my best ever trip adults only was our honeymoon in 98 3 weeks at Disney or the week long adults only trip in 96 at Disney. As for family trios they are all the best ever each time we take our kids it gets better as they get to experiance more and more of the magic.

Sad to say but DH and i have yet to go away alone. Every time we say we are going we change it to include the kids and with that in mind our best vacations are at Disney.

was when we went for our honeymoon to the Royal Carribean Sandals Resort in Jamica, and with the kids is (so far) is our cottage vacations up north near Sauble Beach. I'm sure I'll have a different answer by November though!!!

Well my DH and I haven't travelled much alone other than a few weekends here and there but we did our first cruise on the Norway in 1993 and it was an awesome trip, although we did miss our then 6-year old daughter but it was just a week. We enjoyed it because it was truly an adult holiday and we could do whatever, whenever we wanted!

Our best holiday trip............well we've been twice now on a WDW/Cruise holiday, we tend to make it an extended vacation cause it's so much farther for us to get to Florida. This next one is scaled down a little though, we usually spend 10 days at WDW but this time it's 2 days at Universal prior to our cruise (RCCL - Mariner) and 3 days WDW post-cruise. I "promised" my DH that I would split our holidays from now on, either cruise or WDW. Well, he doesn't know yet that I've tacked on WDW at the end and I probably won't tell him until we leave! I did, however, tell our daughter cause she's the one who will be missing school. I enjoy these holidays cause we're together pretty much 24/7 (since she's an only) while we're at WDW and it's great bonding time and there's something for everyone to do when we're cruising.

Been thinking about this one and can't decide.

Really like canoeing in Algonquin Park -- hope we get a chance to go this summer, both alone and with family. We go into the back part only reachable by canoe so it's really quiet and nice, unless it rains and then it's just wet. :p

But we've also had a good time alone at WDW and on the Disney Cruise. DS didn't want to go on the cruise or to WDW -- he's a teenager (please when does this end???) so stayed home with grandma.

Having said that best family vacations were when he was younger and did go to WDW. He has not been deprived -- we went every year with him from the time he was 2 til he was 14 and it was great seeing the differences each year as he grew older. I'm hoping that he will agree to go back at some point.

WDW is so different at different ages and different again when just adults go. I think it's part of the reason I love going there.
