I need a place to eat in Epcot. I had an ADR for Coral Reef, but wanted to try someplace new, so changed it to San Angel. Now I am regretting my decision based on the horrible reviews on these boards. So what in your opinion is the best 1 TS restaurant in all of Epcot. Excluding Coral Reef, Garden Grill, and Le Cellier. Which is what I am sure everyone will pick..;)

Chefs De France! It's my new Epcot fave! The food was sooo decadent, service was fabulous (loved the hunky waiters too!) and it's just pretty too! LOL :)

Chefs de France, Biergarten then Restaurant Marrakesh. All are good but which one is best depends on what you are looking for.

I say Chefs or Le Cellier. Biergarten is pretty cheap considering and I don't think worth the use of a credit.

I would say Biergarten, but if you are concerned getting the most $ value out of your credit, then this could be someplace you could try and pay OOP, but do try it sometime.

As far as the bad reviews of San Angel.... everyone has thier own oppinion and this could end up being your favorite place, it does have a great atmosphere, I think it is just fine and have seen some good reviews too.

Other than that it is really hard to go wrong in Epcot as far as where to eat, I would suggest Tutto Italia, Chef De France, or Le Cellier.

I love the San Angel Inn. Its a great place. Chefs de France is very good as well.

I really really love Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room. It could very easily be my favorite Disney restaurant. The food is great, and the ambiance and view are breathtaking. Make your adr for 8pm and then request to sit outside, if you are lucky you will get to sit outside and have a front row seat for Illuminations.
The potato leek soup is awesome, so is the steak!!

The Rose and Crown is so good, probably one of my favorites in the whole World. I really miss the Guiness stew, but the fish and chips are great, as are the bangers and mash. The salmon appetizer was also very good.

Tutto Italia, it was the best meal ever! There are a ton of pics and a review in my signature.

We have always loved Le Cellier, but I ate at Tutto Italia for the first time this past Dec and now have a new favorite. Their lemon salmon appetizer, fish with clams, and the ice cream sundae thing I had was sooooo good.:cloud9: Pricewise it is more expensive than Le Cellier and even a couple of the Signature restaurant's, so is a great value on the DDP for one credit.

FYI: I am on the DxDDP for my trip in May (so get the appetizers). I've already written down what I'm probably going to eat at each restaurant and figured the tax. I just looked at my list and my meal at Tutto Italia will be $53.50, my meal at Flying fish will be $58.95, Citrico's will be $56.95, Jiko's will be $49.95, and Artist Point will be $57.95. All of these are not including tips or any alcohol. But you can see where Tutto Italia's value is right up there with the 2 credit Signature Restarants, yet costs only one credit.

I would go to tutto since you excluded the other places I would have chosen.. Wise choice on avoiding the San Angel Inn..
