I've found the prices at the department stores are pretty similar. If you get a Sunday paper, there is always a Macy's sales ad in it. It usually has a coupon for $10 off or 20% off purchase, etc. Also, if you open a Macy's card while you're there, you'll probably get 20% off your purchase.

fyi, macy's doesn't carry uggs (at least anywhere in the northeast). they do have emus tho.

We have a huge selection of Uggs here at Macy's. Boots, shoes and slippers.

I just ordered a pair of Ugg slippers from Victoria's Secret and they could not apply my coupon to the Ugg part of my purchase. They said Ugg wouldn't let them discount. Then, I stopped by a local shoe store that had just started carrying Ugg. They said it is really difficult to get the brand and that when you do, they don't discount because they don't want the market to saturate too quickly as happened with Crocs. Macys.com does not have Uggs and Lord and Taylor won't discount them. Nordstrom charges list price. Shoebuy.com doesn't have them and Zappos charges list price. My guess is that most people pay retail for Uggs unless they get them via Ebay. I did buy a pair of Ugg sandals through Ebay and they are the real deal, but I know that some people have been stuck with counterfeits.

really? quite a few ppl at different macy's in my area said "macy's does not carry uggs.". i did check 5 different stores, & they were right: none had them
